The amount of information that the Biostrap gathers and reads, then charts, is phenomenal. I’m not the biggest exercise buff but I do a little bit 5 times a week, and Biostrap learns your exercises and counts them for you (reps). Furthermore, SLEEP LAB is a lifesaver!!! I’m learning so much about my sleep patterns that I’m able to adjust my habits and improve my actual sleep!!! It’s remarkable! I’d recommend this device to everyone, but I’m kind of hoping it stays just popular enough that only the select few know how great it is... I like that I’m ahead of the curve when it comes to biometrics and health informatics! Kudos to the entire Biostrap team for everything they do, including the amazing customer service they offer!!! “I love this product and the analysis it gives. But i think the app should more user friendly as in for users who cant really make a conclusion out of all this data. You should give a daily score basing on all of the analytics. A score that would give an intuative idea of how recovered are you and a value that will let you know how hard can you push it today.
Further more, regarding sleep analysis, you should give advise on how much sleep we should get following a day. For example if i sync my device at night, i would get the analytics from throughout the day and the app can show me how much sleep i need to get to have more of a chance to wake up recovered.
Other than that great product. Great analytics and the strap 2.0 never falls. Just need to twick the app a bit.”

Thanks for your amazing feedback! You read our minds about the recovery score idea. We're been baking something internally to address this need. We might release it as a beta feature in the very near future.
We also have a "recommended sleep" amount, but it's not yet ready for production. Still tweaking this one, but glad to hear that this feature has some demand.

Thanks for the feedback here. We are always working on ways to improve the user experience including working on the sync times. It is important to note here that our device takes a significant amount of data and the longer a user goes without opening the app to let it sync the longer it will take to sync.
Regarding exporting data. We currently have the option to download a PDF of your sleep data from the sleep page. We are releasing the ability to do the same for on the spot Biometric recordings as well in an upcoming release.

I purchased a new style wrist strap but only the older style will fit my wrist. So, I threw away money on the wrist strap and the sleep lab. I hope the whole thing is not a waste of money.”

Thanks for reaching out and providing some feedback here. It seems as though you are having some issues at the moment with your device. I would suggest reaching out to our support team for help to make sure you have a better experience moving forward.
If the update is stuck it is likely due to a connectivity issue. You can try toggling your WiFi off and on or running on cell data only to see if the update can complete.
Battery life is something that we are working on improving. Currently, the battery life is due to the significant amount of data that we collect on your Biometrics. Getting into a habit of charging the device daily will ensure a good experience.
We are sorry to hear that the new wristband does not fit you. Is the strap too large or too small?

“I bought the BioStrap hoping to experience the biometrics that are advertised. To this day (2 weeks in) I have 0 useful data. It is rare for it to stay connected, and I had to load the app on an iPad to get any connectivity. I can't carry my iPad close enough all the time, and BioStrap struggles to reconnect when in range. Sounds like it might be OK for people who live a life centered around their iPhoneX, which is not healthy, ... but health is the focus of BioStrap.”
Hi Darick, I am sorry to hear you had issues with your Biostrap device. From what you noted in your message it seems as though something is definitely off with your device or the connection to your phone. I do not see that you reached out to our support team regarding this. If you are interested in doing so I would highly suggest it so we can make sure the device is working properly for you and that you have a better user experience.
