“Made me enthused again - the old one’s battery would not last through the night and monitoring my sleep was what I got it for in the first place. Not only does the battery last over a day, but the nighttime data gathering is much more complete for all parameters. Looking forward to exploring what data I can gather with the new chest strap.”
“I’ve been an early adopter of the Biostrap system and I can’t be a bigger fan! It helps me understand how my body behaves after workouts (not just during) as it analyzes biometrics throughout the day as needed and the sleep information is literally something I depend on daily! I’m sure there’s lots of other different wearables on the market, but nothing ever informed me as well as Biostrap!”
“I like that it syncs faster, and the battery lasts longer, but honestly, those are the only changes I’ve noticed. My sister has one and says the same thing. Overall, I’m kind of regretting the “upgrade,” mostly because it seems like it was kind of a waste of money. I’m happy to be wearing and using my biostrap, and still love it. I just think for me, the upgrade was unnecessary.”
“The readings are good, I assume in the accuracy. I like the diversity in metrics to evaluate and the comparative analysis. My criticisms of this app and system is the ability to add additional content or pair this with external partners for water/calorie intake, weight, stress inputs, menstrual markers, and other health metrics to notice variations and what they might mean or impact. Also I would love more feedback on how to change or improve some of the metrics, HRV for example. If you are a health but already perhaps everything for biostrap seems crystal clear, however, others of us see this as an opportunity to improve our health and fitness knowledge, it would be great to increase your suggestions or comments to reach goals.”
“The speed of sync with your phone is way better than the first generation. Still waiting for me onyx strap or the 25.00 credit they promise. Rather have the strap.”
“The EVO seems to download information much quicker than the previous model. It also seems to be more accurate. I was having issues with it recording my oxygen stats, but the EVO appears to be doing a better job. Loving it so far!”

also not having rem sleep detectable really is a bummer. might as well just have awake and asleep stages instead of light, deep, awake. Hard to tell if this is accurate at all

“I received the sensor and will be trying it soon but I am disappointed in how the new bands for the unit have been handled. I was expecting to receive the new band in Onyx but now being told I will get a credit for $25 towards purchasing a band? I paid for the new band style when I placed my order. I don't expect to have to place an order for it when available and to pay anything else towards that. This has not been handled very well.”
“Better battery life, bluetooth has increased range, data transmission rates are faster, o2 saturation and HRV seem more accurate. In short, better, stronger, faster. I still wish there was more sleep data available without an additional fee.”
“Waited forever for EVO to come out. Ordered when EVO came out and it took forever fir them to fill and then eventually ship them. My wife finally got hers, and I have yet to receive mine. Got an email from Biostrap asking me if I was "still part of their family ?" Really? I replied to the email. Customer Service gave me a tracking number link that linked to nothing. I emailed them about that. No reply. Now I'm being asked to review a product that I have yet to receive. My wife's EVO seems to be working.”
