Then after 3 weeks he told me to download an app atomic wallet they sent the money as coins to that wallet but that coin wasn’t worth anything fake coins that has been added to the wallet so i. They sound convincing, investing and watching your money grow until when you ask to cash out, they tell you you need to pay more money as a broker fee. I did this and then they wanted more to cover an exchange and processing fee. I told them I was paying nothing more until I got at least some of my money back. They then told me that I would get my money back if I put money in my crypto account ready to go and that I wouldn't need to send it until I got my money back.
So I went along with this to see what happened... To cut a long story short, they tried to pay me with a fake USDT coin, which I managed to confirm with Exodus (crypto wallet company) which was made to look like a lot of money but actually worthless. So I have great proof that this is a scam.
So I avoided being scammed out of another large sum of money but am over £46K down whilst being owed over the £150K. Please don't make the same mistake as me...”
