I made the mistake of ordering the Carbon Valoir Panel End Desk. The desk is very poorly designed – there is a 6cm gap between the top of the modesty panel and the desktop. This leaves the desktop unsupported in the middle, so it sags under its own weight. Worse, that lack of support leaves the desktop extremely flexible. Simply typing causes the whole desktop to vibrate up and down, setting my monitor wobbling in front of me as I write this. The photograph of the product on their website neatly conceals that 6cm gap. If it had been visible, I would not have purchased it. A sagging, bouncing desk is not fit for for purpose. Disappointing.

Hi, we're really sorry that you aren't happy with your desk but we hope that we can provide some help and explanations for the issues you are experiencing. The gap between the desk top and the modesty panel is included deliberately to allow for cabling access where required and is standard on this type of desk. When it comes to the unstable desk top, this is not a complaint we tend to hear and is likely due to it not being tightened correctly. We have been supplying to commercial offices for 20 years with desks of this design and do not get reports of sagging or flex in the desk tops, so it may be worth checking that the desk has been constructed correctly. Where do I start?? Had the computer table delivered at 4.15pm on a Friday. Draw cabinet missing. Back panel smashed in half. Table top corner bashed. Looked like it had been run over by the delivery lorry. Contacted by phone on 3 different numbers at 4.20 pm No answers, just a recorded message open till 5.00 pm. ! Sent 2 emails to the email address on invoice, both bounced back. Now why do you think I left 1 stat rating, if there was a zero, I would have put that. I will be phoning after the bank holiday to get a resolve. Not impressed as this was a birthday present on that Friday.

We're very sorry that you were not able to get hold of us on Friday, we recently had to change our opening hours due to coronavirus so our office closes at 3.30pm on Fridays. On receipt of the desk I found there was no desk top, socouldnt set it up and more importantly, couldn't use it. There were 4 parts to the desk but only 3 were loaded onto the delivery truck. Cant comment on the quality of the desk yet......

Hi Patrick, we're really sorry to hear that you did not receive all of the parts for your desk at the same time. All furniture parts leave our warehouse together and at the same time, unfortunately, some deliveries have been getting split by the courier once they reach the depot. This can mean that parts are loaded onto different vans and that some parts of the delivery are delayed. We're really sorry that your order is one of those affected. Ordinarily, the missing part arrives the next working day if not the same day, however, if you have still not received your desk top, please let our customer service team know by calling them on 0800 804 4760. They will look into the delivery for you and let you know when you can expect your desk top. We're incredibly sorry for this delay and for any inconvenience it has caused you.

Still waiting on parts for my 2 desks I ordered paid for next day delivery been 4 days still waiting 2 parts of desks

Hi Paul, we're incredibly sorry that you have not received all parts of your desks yet. Unfortunately, some deliveries are currently being split by the courier after they leave our warehouse, which means some parts are being loaded onto separate vans and end up getting delayed. We apologise that you're order has been affected and for the inconvenience this has caused you. Normally, the separate parts arrive the next working day, but if you have still not received the rest of your desks, please contact our customer service team either by email on help@bluespotfurniture.co.uk or phone via 0800 804 4760 and they will look into this for you. Great customer service. Quick delivery (Even if messed up by their carrier but can't blame Bluespot for that) Staff on the phone were very helpful and sorted out issues straight away. Desk is bang on, really pleased overall.

Got next day delivery took a week for a the parts to actually come had to return one bit because it was so damaged got another still scratches and dents AND the material is very cheap I would recommend spending your money elsewhere

No instruction manual to help me assemble my desk. I called them and they did email this over straight away. Next problem when putting the desk together plastic pieces where the screws grip were missing on one of the legs so it was impossible to put together. Called them 3 days ago they are posting the missing parts out 1st class but They have not arrived yet.

Any missing parts are posted out as quickly as possible, usually on the same day, so they should be with you soon. Unfortunately, due to coronavirus there have been some delays within the postal service, which will likely be further affected by this week's bank holiday. Hi Sean, it looks as though your order should have been with you on May 22nd, as it was dispatched from our warehouse on May 21st. We are really sorry that there was a delay with your order, as we usually expect standard deliveries to be delivered within 7 working days. Unfortunately, our couriers have been experiencing depot closures and staff shortages due to the coronavirus, which has affected some orders. Ordered desk 2 days ago and requested next day delivery, however under current circumstances I gathered this may not happen. Delivery arrived today but desktop missing. I also noticed some of the packaging was damaged and sure enough there is chip on the back board which joins the metal frame together. Bluespot, not a good customer journey so far! I hope you can quickly resolve this

the office table got delivered as planned i unpacked the boxes to find there was not any legs, i rang bluespot and was told sometimes this happens and they are possibly on another van!! the legs did arrive the next day simple to put together ( done in 10 mins.) the table is strong and sturdy and well up to the job. i would be thinking of changing carriers ?

Well firstly they are the kind of people you can call up and talk to about issues. There was an issue with my delivery (courier company's fault), which was quickly sorted out. I've now got a lovely desk that was easy to assemble. A happy customer that will buy again...

There's a damage to the RHS bottom corener/edge of the grey front panel and the top LHS screw hole is also damaged. There are some streaks on the white desk top. That's said, I can now get on with some work so I'm relieved.
