“The desk I ordered is of fantastic quality & excellent value for money. However one of the primary reasons for using this company was their next day delivery service. The desk didn't come the next day or the day after or the day after that. It was three business days later after I had rung up & chased the order down. When it did arrive the the boxes were all damaged, opened & in a very poor state. Luckily none of the components were damaged. To summarise, an excellent product let down by poor courier outsourcing. Would order again as this may of been a one off.”

“Desks are lovely - very simple to put together. Would be nice if you also did some simple inserts e.g. boxes to fit in the shelf space - or had links to where correctly sized accessories could be found.”

“Delivery much slower than the (already slow) times shown in website. Delivery only to kerbside. Matching pieces not assembled correctly (2 left side pieces). Slightly mitigated by friendly customer service, but little in practice done to alleviate the problems above. Nice people, but I wouldn't buy furniture from them.”

To clarify your point about delivery - you ordered a 'made to order' reception desk, one of the few products on our site that is not 'next day delivery' and we emailed you throughout to tell you the estimated delivery date for the product. “My rating is based upon the specific product which is supposed to be a standing desk but is really only high enough for someone who is 5 foot 3 or shorter. I guess it may have been designed in a country of manufacture where this is the average height. Also, calling it "adjustable" is generous since the entire desk needs to be cleared and wing nuts taken off to adjust it. Similar models from other providers have a crank handle to adjust, but you get what you pay for. In this case while it is technically accurate, was not worth the cost.”

“I bought the following items from KOMO: HD Bench Desk + Single Pedestal - good quality desk and leg set, loved the coloured drawers on the pedestal but why oh why were there no suitably located pre-drilled holes to attach it to the desk? At £360 I did not expect to have to measure and drill my own holes especially since there must have been at least twenty pre-drilled hols in the wrong locations. HD Tambour Storage Unit (5 Bold Colours) - lovely coloured doors but a bit sticky when opening and closing and £350 without shelves which were an additional £40 each. HD Tambour Storage Unit (5 Bold Colours) - Small - same positives as large version but in both cases the sliding door section took up a significant portion of internal capacity and a tab expensive for size - £227.00 B2 Workology Small Bookcase - £109 but nothing special from any other flatpack chipboard bookcase.”

“We bought an Engage desk with storage above. Whilst the wrong legs arrived initially, this was rectified immediately with no delay or fuss. The desk is very well made and goes together easily. It's an ideal desk for my son's bedroom.”

“Pleased with the product overall, however the delivery information is confusing on the website and I wasn't sure when I would be taking delivery and I only received half the instructions. Luckily it wasn't very difficult to assemble and there are online instructions.”

Hi Chris, Thanks ever so much for leaving us a review. I 100% understand your comment about the delivery confusion - for some reason the date picker was playing up the weekend you ordered. If you had left it blank we'd have delivered free the next working day for you, as that's our standard service, but as you picked a specific date we followed your instruction. I agree it was easily confused and it's all fixed on the website now. I'm glad you got your desk together easy and your product is as expected. Hopefully we'll see you again at Kit Out My Office. “I am very pleased with my desk it is very sturdy and extremely well manufactured It was very easy to construct and I was able to put it together myself I have purchased the desk for my crafting and I am able to have all of my papers cards etc to hand making it easier for me I am over the moon with it and would not hesitate to recommend your products to all my crafting friends Thanking you for an excellent product and an excellent service Kind Regards Linda Fever”

“There were a couple of points that I did raise with KOMO following delivery but of no consequence. I found the company exceptionally responsive to any query that I had. The delivery and product quality was of a high order. Would be pleased to use again and would not hesitate to recommend.”

“Desks are quite bad quality. I have recently been told by the four people sitting on it that when they attempted to move the desks slightly, they actually bent. I have been asked not to order these desks again so wouldn't recommend to anyone.”

Hi Perri, thanks for taking the time to review. I normally don't like to question reviews as they are a customers genuine opinion, but I am left a bit bewildered by your comments unfortunately. We have manufactured hundreds of these desks over the years (I am actually using one right now) and I can not see how they can 'bend' - the tops are made from 25mm thick high density MFC board that can hold 20kg of weight, they are anything but 'bad quality'. It might seem a silly question, but are you sure these are the desks that you purchased from us? “Kit out my office have a brilliant customer service. I ordered a desk but changed my mind once ordered as the measurements would not fit the space I have got nicely. KOMO rapidly answered my email and cancelled the order with no problems. I reordered a new desk from them the next day. Happy to purchase from them again.”
