“All in all the course was very good. It gave a wide overview of many aspects of boating. I think it is a good idea to have the book as a reference on your boat as there are many things that might be forgotten or confused if you don't boat often.”

“My Husband and I purchased a new Pontoon Boat this past Summer to enjoy on Lake Simcoe with our Kids and Grandkids. I always felt bad that he always had to "do the driving" while everyone else was doing the enjoying. I decided that I needed to get my Operator card so that I could share in the responsibility of keeping everyone safe while on the water. The Boatsmart course is an excellent way to take the course at your leisure. While there is a lot of information to cover, the Boatsmart method of covering the information makes it easy and interesting. I would recommend however, that when you do take this course to get certified, that you also have the excellent handbook available as you go through the course for reference. I am proud of my achievement and highly recommend the Boatsmart course!!”

“I think there should be a way to show your read the book because I read the hole book than had to do it all again so having a way to show would be good.”

“Online course very good and a positive approach to learning including module quizzes! After passing the course, Would like to find out answers to questions that I answered incorrectly. There must be a way! Eg: send the answers by email or snailmail a week or 2 after test. Otherwise”

“This course is very comprehensive. I had no idea that operating a boat required so much knowledge! The test after each module and final exam was very fair, but reasonably difficult. The course gave you another chance in case you didn't pass the first time. Overall, I was very impressed with BOATsmart and feel more confident about operating my new boat!!! Thank you!”
