“I was very frustrated that you don't get to know which answers you got wrong on the quizzes. Other similar courses for the boating exam did not do this. It makes it very hard to study.”

“Passing the final exam. I don't think the modules should have to been taken again if you fail the quiz. The quiz should be written again and your errors corrected.”

“Having a course online was convenient. The voice on the lessons was very monotone and 'cheap'. I got the impression it was done at a kitchen table and the guy reading the script had just finished a peanut butter sandwich.”

“I would like to see less material regarding ocean navigation for those of us that will never operate a boat outside of the prairies. Perhaps regional courses would be better. Just my opinion, thanks.”

“Often, reading through "textbook" material is dry and labourious. The online BOATsmart course made it so easy. Not only can you read the course material, but video clips are provided for the visual learner. Learning made simple. The quizzes at the end of each chapter helped provide a foundation for the final test. Well worth taking the course through BOATsmart!!!”

“This is a thorough course that prepares you completely for the government exam. My only complaint is that some topics are covered more than once and this makes studying longer....and it is long as it is.”
