“I had a great deal of trouble signing/getting into the test site to do the course and complete the test. It took several phone calls and I was told that the Explorer Browser has given some problems so to try the Chrome Browser which meant of course downloading and setting preferences for another online internet browser. This was a little tedious and I must admit that if I had not already paid my Fee I would have likely moved on to another provider of the course. I also found that even then some of the video in the course material did not play very well with interruptions and restarts required.”

“The amount of time required to pass before you an proceed to next portion of a module seems arbitrarily set. Some slides had little to no information, yet I had to wait minutes to proceed. Combine the fact that some people have prior knowledge, the delay makes the entire process frustrating.”

Thanks for taking the time to provide a review. At this time, we are unable to change the length of the course as the 3-hour timer is required in Canada by Transport Canada, and required in the U.S. by NASBLA. We understand this may be frustrating for students, however, please understand that the 3-hour timer ensures that all students are able to fully understand all of the course content. Every course provider must meet this requirement and in order to be able to take the course online, from the comfort of home, students must spend 3 hours in the course. Thanks for hanging in there - your 3 hours of studying will get you a lifetime of safe boating fun!

“Very good platform with a nice learning videos and good learning flow. Only disadvantage i found was that at the end of each module where there is exam, it tells you the score of the test (i.e. 80%) but it does not show you the questions you answered wrong. Other then that, i recommend it!”

“Although I would have liked slightly less clicking and loading (option of playing continously would be good) I found it a good way to do the study. The section tests helped a lot. Well worth it.”

“This was the easiest..most convenient way I've experienced. Bought my boat in the afternoon..stayed up most of the night and completed the course. Good for life! Great course..easy to comprehend..loved it. Thank you!”

“Good course over all 1. If you miss pass percent, starting over not good, should be able to go through faster second time. 2. I suggest summary charts at the beginning and ending of each section”

“Hello there i thought your system is Awesome and i will recomend it to any and all that that i see interested. “Very surprising. More difficult than I expected but worth the effort. Definitely left me feeling much more knowlegable/taught topics I never considered a part of boat safety before. Well designed Web site. Easy to navigate. Recognized by Canadian Government. Left me feeling confident about boat safety & credibility of Certification.”
