“Was very long. Took 4 to 5 hours but it was a good course. Would be better if you could see your wrong answers after each quiz.”

“Appreciated the safety information. Easy to follow online modules. Unfortunately some quiz questions did not match the module, timing of modules off at times making the process slower than necessary. The time commitment needed to complete the 7 modules should be shared at the beginning to be able to budget one’s time. Exam questions in general matches the course content. A couple of questions were not covered.”

“I enjoyed the overall experience, but the timed portion while taking modules needs to be revisited. I had the boat manual with me and found that the time portion took too long. I had studied the manual and feel that I should be able to go at my own pace. other than that it was good.”

“The information was broken up well and the quizzes between modules really prepared me for the Boating License Test. The pacing was very slow however. I spent more than half of the time waiting for the timer to elapse between lessons. If you read at a reasonable speed the timer is too slow and I found my concentration drifting between lessons (sometimes nodding off).”

“The course content was very good. Material was often repeated through the modules which made for a very long completion time. Took me about 5 hours and I went through it pretty quickly!”

“Information well presented with good use of visuals, audio and reading components. End of chapter quizes were also helpful. Video links would have been nice and allow for a more complete user experience. Some questions on boating exam were not covered in course or ambiguous in nature. All around evaluation was nevertheless very good!”

“the course drove me crazy! Links didn't open, had to keep jumping back to main menu to load next video. Too many short little videos, the 3 hour course took 6hrs to go through with all the technical glitches. Huge pain in the ass. Passed, but would not recommend this course to anyone. Buy the book and write the test- save your time and money!”
