“Enjoyed your software. Not sure how my husband gets to do his course and exam. I bought the package for two individuals but not sure how to get him in to do his certification. Please advise. Thank you.”

“Completely unnecessary to have the units timed for repeats of the section when you don’t pass the quiz. Super annoying. Also, we signed up for multiple people from the same household. We watched all the videos and went through the course content together as a group, then found out we would each have to do it separately again after that. Also unnecessary and annoying. No option to just challenge the quizzes and final exam. Unnecessary and frustrating. For these reasons I would not recommend this course to anyone.”

“Easy to use, clear, well balanced modules. My wife and I took advantage of the discount for two. We had some issues redeeming her course, but the chat help quickly got us sorted out. I’m now eagerly awaiting my PCOC. I recommend BOATsmart.”

“This is a really great course and teaches you all the basics for the boating safety. I thought I knew enough before I studied to pass the test. I would of been wrong, I am glad I took the time to watch every video.”

“The course was very comprehensive, videos and audio quality were nearly flawless, quizzes were similar in style to the final TC course. Some minor typos and errors in the course and I believe one or two of the questions on the TC course were not addressed in the course itself but were somewhat easy to reason out. Course sequencing is sometimes a bit odd where abbreviations and technology will be mentioned before they are explained but it's usually available within a few lessons of where you are. Overall a very good way to get the license and love that I can do it from home.”

“I like that I could do the course at my own pace. I did find a couple test questions that I don't remember encountering in the course. Doesn't matter, I got a decent mark. I can't get my temporary card to print. Maybe the connection is busy?”

“A more visual and constant reminder of where to find all the regulatory material and information might help. I know there are areas that I need to improve my knowledge of and I feel I should have finished the program armed with that information but I’m not. I suppose I’ll be able find that information but in a program like this that really only gives you the basic knowledge, where to go for deeper knowledge should be present, readily accessible and constantly in your face throughout the course.”

“Content was easy to follow, easy to understand. The animation videos were a great help in mastering the material. Some discrepancies between oral and written content led to momentary confusion but, overall, the course was well delivered.”
