“was able to go at my own pace wish I'd been able to back and review the questions I had wrong. I learn best by having that ability. Reviewing entire module doesn't really help, if you don't know your weakness”

“Found the whole experience to be very informative and helpful. Live Visio of high traffic waterways with signage would've made things more realistic. Overall I feel confident enough to get started hands on.”

“I would have liked to see which answers I got wrong on the quizzes and the final test. Now I'm not sure what I know, and what I don't know! I don't want to not be following the rules while on a boat!!!”

“Very good course, informative. You do have to pay close attention to the videos in order to score well. You can however repeat the sessions you fail to score a passing mark. Highly recommended.”

“Lots of information. A variety of ways to learn it. Too much time on most screens for me as I preferred not to watch the videos. Got my laundry done in the lag time!”

“The material was well covered but sometimes the timer on the videos isn't correct and in one case, I had to watch a video multiple times.”

“The course prepared the candidate fairly well for the test. My issue is not with the course so much as the concept of the boaters license. I do not believe BOATsmart has control over this so won't comment here. One suggestion is that the course took me longer than 3 hours. May be my slow connection but find it hard to believe that volume of material adds up to 3 hours. Is that what the timed videos add up to?”

“Very educational,laws are clearly discussed I am from northern Ontario and only fish on smaller lakes but this course covers all aspects of safe boating,very educational all and all an awesome course.”

“I found it very helpful to have the BOATsmart! study modules follow along with the hard copy book. I was able to flip through the pages while listening to the video and tab pages of high importance. Then do the quiz both in the book and through the module was also handy.”

“Great course.. I am From the north and think the course/test should be different. We all grew up around boats and safety and half the stuff in this coarse and it was rather boring considering you have to do each module.”
