“Terrible response time from customer service. I bought my course a month ago and have been having trouble signing in and accessing it. I've tried using their online chat function and emailing them multiple times and only got a reply once informing me they were understaffed and asked me for my account information. However, ever since supplying them with said information I have yet to hear back from anyone in the two weeks which have elapsed since then.”

“The modules took longer than expected (5 hours), but were very helpful and well done. I was able to complete the actual test in 15 min as a result. Very pleased.”

“No customer service at all ordered 3 cards received 1 can’t get anyone on the phone no call back no answer to emails. No way to run a business!!!”

“We have tried to contact the office multiple times regarding the hard copy of the license for my son. Was told it was in the mail twice and still nothing has come in. No one answers the phone nor returns call back requests. So here we sit with an expired temporary license and no hard copy for him…I think someone needs to improve on customer service. And we may be going to another boating certification program for him to actually get his license done and complete.”

“The course was good. Topics easy to follow. The videos were problematic on a few of the slides. It would say if video doesn't work to refresh page or click here to open in another window,. the other window said private video and wouldn't let it play. Also I paused a video and small window appeared showing how to gut a Deer....WT#$@##@. But overall Im happy ...lol”

“It took me 5 tries to connect with your team about difficulties I had getting redirected to the Boatsmart website to complete my exam. 1 phone call 3 chats and 1 email later and 5 days of wait time. Issue was resolved and I finally completed the exam.”

“The course was easy to download and to work though at an individual's own pace. The program picks up where a person leaves and returns to at a later time. The information was clear and well presented. It would be nice if, after each test, the incorrect answers would be displayed so a person would know what questions were answered incorrectly. Or, maybe that information was available and I just didn't know how to access it. Great course and having completed it afforded me a discount on my boat insurance.”

“The course was very comprehensive. Passed final exam with 98%. I am amazed at the number of complaints in the reviews. Videos worked fine, questions had correct answer, no issues moving to and from Transport Canada exam. Temp Card printed fine. I was able to return to course content many times over a month. Found the optional study book extremely helpful.”
