“This is a user friendly program and a great learning tool. The explanations and videos are very helpful, especially to those who have little to no boating experience. I highly recommend this program as a sure method of attaining your PCOC!”

“I took the boat smart course with some background experience with boating, but was impressed by how comprehensive and how much more information was made available in the course that I was not aware of. Although some people may think the course is too long, but I felt it was appropriate and made me well prepared for the water and operate a boat in a safe and smart manner. I like the fact that all the refresher videos are always readily available on you tube as well as the free re-try's for the course and test. This is a very directed learning and well put together and would recommend this course to any friends or family who are interested in obtaining their boating licence.”

“The modules were easy to read. The only problem I had was the main photo examples did not load or did not show up on my computer screen, they were completely blank. I had to refer to the small pictures that were sometimes available or just go by the verbal description which made it harder with no visual example.”

“The extreme detail in the [ BoatSmart pleasure craft operator study card guide] on each subject ,from the introduction to the Module 7 Boating Emergencies, has made me so much more aware of my surroundings while boating. The ''BoatSmart '' is as it says..I for one Thank you for showing so much care/interest for all boaters safety/ responsibilities while enjoying our lakes and rivers.. I have highly recommended this course to a lot of friends and family, it is a much needed lesson ,to prevent not only injury to yourself but to others, and gaining the knowledge in full detail is the selling feature to this course. Thank you once again..you have put another safe boater on the water.,yours truly GREG MAURE”

“Some of the questions and /or format of reviewing the whole section if you failed the quiz were off-putting to some people I have talked to. I wanted to learn as much as I could instead of just learning enough to pass so it was not an issue for me.”

“Good learning tool ,lots of subject matter covered....quizzes are a good learning exercises why don't you let us know what we got wrong not just how many ....lets .learn through our mistakes!”

“The timer on each page is set too long! I'd finish reading a page and still had quite a bit of time left to wait before I could move on to the next page leaving me frustrated!”

“I think the coarse was good. I think it could be shorter. And be seperated to sea vessels and a 16ft fishing boat in Alberta. Myself I lost some of what I need to know for fishing in my local area. spending 10 to 12 hours to do it you lose what you really need to know. But it is over now I got the card. I paid for 4 people to take it. when does that run out I hope NEVER. I think you should give 2 cards with all tests. One in my wallet in case I am on a buddies boat and one stays with my boat. I know I can order more. I thought I did. I'm saying with the coarse you get 2. All in All it was good. A little shorter ------ lots was repeated. And I hope my 4 cards I payed for. I used 1--3 --left is there until I need to use them.”

“I found the online course to be thorough and well laid out. My only concern is the inability to find out what errors you made. If any. I got one of 50 questions wrong, and to this date I have no idea which of my many answers was wrong.”

“I'll keep it short and sweet. I really enjoyed the coarse and all it taught me. It was a lot longer than I had thought it would be but well worth it. I learned a lot and will be a better boater from it. Thanks Jared”
