Course was spot on. With no previous experience/knowledge I got 98% on the government's test after going through the ~3 hour study guide.

The study guide is very helpful. Should be a modified text if your not on the east or west coast tho.

The course was definitely helpful. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that I was disappointed with quite a few of the final exam questions. While they were from the course material, I think there was plenty of much more beneficial questions that should have been on the final exam. For example, I had a question about what type of motor is on a PWC? Not really that big a deal, is it? I think a better question would have been in relation to navigation or safety. I know the questions are probably pulled at random from a bank of questions, but I honestly think that someone should cull some of these types of questions with better, more relevant and useful questions. But still a very helpful and educational course, thank you!

great stuff. module 2 is too long. you should break it down into two modules. Also, try and include the pictures of buoys next to their descriptions as much as possible as it helps in memorizing them.

a lot of the questions in the module tests ask about things not covered in that module, but are provided in later modules.

The content was good. The timer was terrible. I spent 75% of my time waiting for the timer to tick down so I could proceed. This could be done in 1.5 hours if allowed and I would consider using another service for this simple fact.

Didn’t cover all of the exam questions but did a good job of basic learning, it repeated quite a bit though.
