“It is easy to learn on line but I would suggest that you also give out a paper copy so boaters can review at a later date. in time you forget some of the buoys and markers and even the final test is difficult to prepare for as you cannot go back!”

“The boat smart web site is easy to navigate and simple to use. I appreciated the fact that I could work at my own pace when it was convenient for me. The downside is that the content is very repetitive and the delivery is drab and boring. The images are extremely dated and passé. Some effort into making it fun and appealing would help.”

“Excellent coarse outline. I will review this in the future. Also it would be goo to have some kind of refresher course every year or two to keep up with new requirements.”

“The course covered it all. I won't likely remember every small detail but I bought the manual and keep it on board our boat for the things I will likely forget. I'll always remember the main things, wear a life jacket, don't drink and drive and red right return.”

“I was very worried about taking this boating course and put it off for a few years longer then I should of. I found the book and online course excellent. It was easy to follow and was really interesting. Now my husband has a first mate who feels like she is more confident on the water. wishing everyone calm seas Janet”

“It was an informative course, however, I felt that there was poor consistency between the content and the final testing. It was annoying to have to constantly click between modules.”

“The course was well presented and I liked that I was able to print off paperwork and begin boating right away. I don't however, appreciate the constant stream of spamming emails I received after the fact. As result, I won't recommend others take the course using a person email account.”
