“My wife and I have also been huge fans of jarred beans since discovering them in Spain 20 or so years ago. I found out about the Bold Bean Co when it was featured on a Prue Leith cooking show recently. Carlin Peas in particular. So I thought I would buy some to try and we were not disappointed. They are like small nutty chickpeas - I used them in a bean and bacon risotto and look forward to trying them in something else. I have also used borlotti beans in a sausage and bean dish and they were equally good if more familiar. Highly recommended - everyone should have some in their store cupboard.”
“Unbelievably delicious beans - really tender and the bean stock is gorgeous. These beans have changed my view of pulses - I already liked them now I love them! These beans - the white beans, the butter beans, the queen chickpeas are honestly so good. My daughter introduced me to them and at first I thought they were a bit expensive but tbh they are worth every penny and I buy less meat because these are so good.
