“The book damage wasn't that bad when I shipped and the postal service must have done it but I got dinged for it. Almost $30 difference . Overall was ok though.”

“Absolutely terrible experience. They rejected one of my books, claiming it was torn, but it was nowhere near the condition it is in now. When I received my books back, the damaged book was literally falling apart, and all of my books had bent and crushed corners because of the horrible packaging. The return box was so poorly packed that it was falling apart during delivery. The mail carrier could barely deliver it because the package was coming apart. Their explanation made no sense, and the single photo they provided did not justify rejecting the book. They returned my books in much worse condition than I sent them, making them difficult or impossible to resell. This was an extremely disappointing experience. Poor handling, poor packaging, and terrible customer service. I will never use BooksRun again and would not recommend them to anyone.”

“I love the idea, it’s a way to make some cash back on books you may have used for school or perhaps books you’ve read that you’re not dying to keep on your shelf. However, I think you return is grossly underpriced. There’s no reason a book should only receive $.37 I was happy to get rid of the books, but I do not plan to utilize the service again. You boast money for books, but again giving a few dollars a book would make people feel better about recycling them, or allowing somebody else to resell them.”
