A female friend of mine (70yrs), visited the Boots store in Rochdale at 3pm Tuesday Jan 19th this year. Unfortunately she had a severe bout of dizziness. The store staff immediately took control making her feel comfortable and reassured. They contacted me by phone and directed me to the stores loading bay where they met me on arrival. They took me via the lift to collect my friend and via the lift, back to my car. We cannot praise them highly enough. Thank you Donna O, Hollie, Cath and Sam. My friend has fully recovered.

I bought a Accu-Chek Blood Glucose Monitor from your Chiswich High Rd. branch, went there after few days as I could not get any blood after pricking my finger, the chemist told me that my hand could be cold sit down here and try again? without asking me to wash my hand or if I had any food? useless advice, should I return the monitor, get my money back and purchase the thing from a different Chemist? dom.marcantoni@yahoo.com

After visiting the store on a trip to Chester Melanie on benefit made my day after the service she gave me. She was so attentive and knowledgable on her products, her attention to detail and her care for what I wanted not for what she wanted to flog made her a benefit to her employers.

I ordered on Sunday for some 4 new make-up products and paid for next day delivery. When I received my delivery there was only one product in the packaging! So I read online that sometimes they split delivery so I decided to wait a few hours, but obviously still nothing so I gave them a call and one gentleman said he would call me back and would get this sorted... Few more hours go by and still no call back so I called them back myself and spoke to another gentlemen as you could probably tell I wasn't at my happiest! But the gentlemen on the phone was very helpful and sent out a new delivery for me which would come the following day and refunded me back the money I spent on delivery so i was very pleased that it got sorted out in the end, but for the other gentlemen he was very unprofessional! I will buy again but with caution.

Appalling service yet again from Boots Trinity Leeds store, the most consistently badly managed store I've ever had the bad judgement to use. Following a fiasco when collecting glasses & the stor opulent open because the pharmacist was (very!) late for work, made an appointment for an eye test on this week only to be told after a 20 minute wait that the opticians weren't working that day!!! A complete waste of time off work, time travelling into Leeds & money for parking, plus this was the last day to reclaim £100 in optical care for 2015 so it really has cost me dearly. The advert is right, I really should have gone to specsavers and now I will.

Appalling delivery service. Lost order yet again! Spent nearly one hour trying to contact customer services! Will be using Super drug in the future. A much better service

I went to the opticians in boots chippenham a few months ago and came face to face with an older lady how works there and she was very nice. UNTILL the glasses came back wrong and she changed very bossy and nasty,made you feel you were not to say if the glasses were not right, any way I have just had to go to another opticians had to get another eye test and also found out that boots had given me the wrong ones I can see fine now thank goodness, I feel that some places like boots just want your money and they do not care if you can see I shell never go to boots again for glasses I was most disappointed

I have been going to boots for all my I glasses for the past eight years and this year unfortunately my option checked in so hurry that all my four reading and long distance ones were no good at all,I do not know why ? But I returned and this time a lady option called Catherine Seymanski did a very good check up and she had to change for exactly what I had wanted in the first place,,so thank you boots for this kind of caring option and staff in eye option are excellent .This is Fareham branch in Hampshire .

I treated myself to the No7 advent calendar and so far im very impressed, one complaint though, opened this mornings door, it was lip gloss and i had to cut into the packaging to remove it, in fact my husband had to do it, door no5 is a bit mangled now.

Worst shopping experience ever. I went into the Oxford street store today and it was the worst mistake ever. All I wanted to do is top up on my makeup collection as I am usually a frequent customer. I had spent over £30 so I was eligible for a free gift for the brand sleek ,which turned out to be out of stock. I let the customer service assistant know and she let me know that I could have it ordered in online to store. I was fine with that. Little did I know this experience would be a complete waste of time. I went to the desk to a colleague named Whitney which immediately seemed uninterested to serve me. She was serving another lady at the same time as speaking to me so I waited. 10 minutes later another colleague named Far served me she was very polite however, everything she said made me disappointed. She let me know that I would have to make another inconvenient ent visit to the store as the store charges extra to deliver to my home. Whitney also stated that I would not be able to have any choice of the gift as, I would normally have in store and I would have to take whatever was given to me. Not to add I almost got charged an extra £10 by mistake. I had to be wait total of 30 minutes just to recieve a free gift which should have been in stock. In the end I did not even purchase anymore because of the lack of knowledge of the staff. The small lady named Far was very nice however all the other colleges do not impress me at all. Horrible experience and a waste of time. Just to make my day worse my delivery would not be here until 4 days later. This problem could have been resolved in so many ways the colleague could of called the boots round the corner to transfer the product. The colleagues could have also given me a same price or cheaper product. The colleagues should of suggested free delivery for my inconvience and lastly the colleagues could have been much nicer in general. Not impressed at all.

I have been using the Philips lumea 2009 for a few weeks now. I find it very easy and convenient to use. No messy gels just charged it up quickly and your ready to start.

I just came from Boots Harold Hill Hildene Avenue and the woman at the counter was so rude I had to write this review. I picked up a box hair colour and when I went to the counter to pay she didn't even ask me to wait since she was busy talking to her colleagues and checking her dress. I waited few minutes then handed a £20 note she looked it up as if it's a fake (I know it's her job to check but she doesn't have to make it so obvious). Then she handed over the didn't even ask if u want to pay for a bag. I have been to several boots before and the customer service was always good. Just because I am brown doesn't mean less customer service. I live here but if I gave to face the kind of poor service I'd rather go somewhere else!!!

I visited Deepdale Boots in Preston and the customer service was outstanding. I was fortunate enough to receive advice from the store manager who was incredibly helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this store and the products were excellent too. Many thanks Sue, you are a consumate professional.

Excellent service from the staff at Boots , Cornmarket, Oxford. Becks is always very helpful . She is someone we seek out to give sound advice. The pharmacy offers excellent advice and goes to a lot of trouble to sort out our prescription problems. The opticians are very well regarded by everyone. We are very pleased indeed for the help and support we receive.

POOR POOR POOR 15th October I purchased a Black Cordless Water-Pick for £41.99 from my local branch in Ipswich. When I set it up for use on the 17th I found that the dual speed did not work so I took it back to the store to replace it. There were no black one's on the shelf, just one white one so, having checked that ALL the specifications were exactly the same I took it to the payment area to swap them over. They then told me I had to pay £8.00 more because it was not the same. I pointed out that, apart from colour it was the same and that it was on the shelf that was labelled £41.99 but the attitude of the sales assistant was utterly one of "couldn't care less, pay or leave". Thoroughly disgusted, I obtained a refund. I have now found the exact same one as their more expensive one on EBay for £39.89!

I was looking for a hair product called sun in in Westfield White city boots , I asked a gentle man called Andrew and he informed me of how it was nolonger on sell but introduced me to a smilliar product called sun kiss,I gave it a try and it's actually more effective than the one I was looking for. Thanks a lot Andrew

There is a very rude and arrogant woman who is a till operator in Boots Guildford Road Guildford, she never acknowledges certain customers the last time i went she took my purchase to scan it then threw it back to me, she did not at once speak to me, so unprofessional .

Avoid Boots at the Meadway Tilehust if at all possible. There is the most ignorant store manager you could possibly imagine. I truly wonder where they find these people and surely this arrogant rude person should receive some training. After all customer service isn"t rocket science. I was looking for a product and this person approaches me not to help or sell the item but to complain I am standing too near the display quoting regulations and waving me off to another isle. Needless to say I received no assistance as she flounced off after the rebuke. If I hadn't needed the item for my daughter who is ill I would have walked out. Boots you seriously need to address the attitude of your staff - their job is to serve customers not be rude to them.
