“The Proton Max is not a bad hearing aid for the price. However, I was not aware I was ordering such new technology that they don't even have the wax guards available on line yet! You can only order over the phone, and have to give your credit card number to a person. I only use my credit card on line when it is encrypted! So now-- I have two worthless hearing aids because the wax guards need to be changed-- but I can't get replacements. I think the company should have sent more than just 2 with the original order-- since they still don't have them available on line!”
“These aren't "hearing aids"...they are amplifiers. Sound quality is poor. A set of decent Apple earbuds are better. Tinny, fake sound. Doesn't really eliminate background noises, such as in restaurants. And after three days, the right aid stopped working already.
Then...to top it off, I was just about a week into the 45 day trial period. Got an authorization from Bossa Hearing to return the product for a refund. Well, here we are...they received the return because I have the USPS signed return...and four weeks later and I'm still waiting for my money back.
Avoid this product and this company at all cost. I've now got an open dispute with my credit card against Bossa Hearing.”
“Gave up on them. I returned one after it stopped working. After several weeks, I had to call and ask if and when I would get a replacement. The one I finally received didn't work either! I am trying another set from another company.”
“I made an order and immediately after that I called to cancel it It was Sunday so for sure the order wasn't shipped that day and there was enough time to communicate this to the shipper. Despite this, the order was shipped the next day and I was advised that I would have to ship it back, and of course, pay for the return. I don't know what happened with the package, did it reach the destination and when will I receive the refund.”

“I really like the way the fit as I have such small ears I am still having trouble adjusting the volume. I lost th box the hearing aids came in and my directions on how to use them was in the box.
