“BoyleSports constantly promotes "extra places" on horse racing and golf, often beating other bookies on paper. But what they don’t mention upfront is that these generous-looking offers are completely undermined by their ridiculously low betting limits. Most of the time, you're restricted to just **£25 each-way** – which makes the promo close to pointless for anyone trying to get decent returns. It feels like a bait-and-switch tactic: advertise more places than the competition, then quietly cap the stake so hard that the value disappears. What’s the point of offering a standout market if you won’t actually let people get on? If you’re a casual punter betting pennies, maybe it’s fine. But if you’re even slightly serious, BoyleSports just isn’t worth the hassle. You’re better off elsewhere with firms that actually honour the spirit of their promotions. Disappointing and misleading.”

“Illegal tactics employed by Boylesports, which I will be making an official complaint about to the Gambling Commission. They offered a sign up offer to win €30 worth of free bets. Once my initial qualifying bet had settled, they restricted me from placing any bets with them. My free bets, which I had qualified for prior to any restrictions, therefore cannot be used. According to the Gambling Commission, this is illegal. Copied below from the Gambling Commission website: "Do not enforce (or seek to enforce) any Account Restriction against a consumer who has, prior to such Account Restriction being notified to them, made one or more qualifying bets in respect of a Free Bet Promotion, where enforcing such an Account Restriction would: a. affect the consumer’s ability: to receive any of the free bets, or the full expected value of any of the free bets, from that Free Bet Promotion, having placed all the necessary qualifying bets to receive any of the free bets, or the full value of any of the free bets, to which they would be entitled upon placing the remaining qualifying bets required by that Free Bet Promotion to complete any Wagering Requirements associated with that Free Bet Promotion. b. materially affect the consumer’s ability to complete the qualifying bets required by that Free Bet Promotion."”

“I am having problems with boylesports, they have closed my account whilst I have a review. I told them they can't close it as I have 4 open bets on it. They said you can go on it to withdraw but will not be able to bet. Fine until I went on to withdrawl but it won't let me. Boylesports know I am classed as a vulnerable adult, but won't pass me on to a team leader to sort out. I have £750 in my account and need it for bills and gas and electric. They know I have mental health issues but don't seem to care. This is my money so what gives them the right to lie and keep my money. I have been in and out of mental institutions for a few years now and can't understand why they have given me a no limit account. Surely you would need to be earning 50k + to bet thousands of pounds a week. This is why they have shut my account because I questioned it. They are lying to me and telling me zi was reviewed in July 2024. Don't think k so the address they have for me is over 12 years old. Also how can there PDQ machine take thousands out of my bank if the address doesn't match my card ?? Very iffy. Don't touch them with a bargepole.”
