“When you consider where I started 6 weeks ago, Brightside has been incredible. I'm no longer suicidal, my wife and I are getting along better than we have in years, and my meds have got me stabilized. My psychiatrist and my therapist have got me to a good place, I never thought that I would see again”
“I just feel like I am paying a lot for a service where I end up doing a lot more myself. It feel like I am paying almost $400/mo for “just friends”.
I need a psychosexual evaluation for court and I was told they can only provide resources to find it else where. If you are a certified practicioner and im paying for your services you should be able to provide that….
I also have to schedule my own appointments after the fact instead of with my provider in the call. This gets annoying because I am forgetful! I should only have to worry about my feelings.
I also have to do homework which i dont appreciate as again I am forgetful.
I had to do my own safety plan instead of doing it with my therapist so I can focus on doing it right and they could help me make it better. Instead she just said she would send it bavk and make me do it again. That was unnaceptable I think for $349…..
I should be able to focus on getting better. Not doing my Therapist and Psychiatrists notes for them.”
“Brightside has connected me with me with both a psychiatrist that has helped me connect with the correct supporting medication and a therapist that helps me build successful structures to help reach a higher place I couldn't achieve without both of them.”
“Not sure if It’s appropriate to name names but I could not be happier with the two Healthcare Professionals that I’m working with. They are both helping within my PTSD and anxiety. I am so grateful to have this virtual option.”
“I really like how it checks in with you and tells you that your due for a visit with whom ever you see. I also love the feature of being able to contact them when ever in messages so if I have a question or something I can just send it and typically within the same day get a responds.”
“It does the minimum of what I need, but that is it. This service is not detailed, personable, and caring, which is what any mental health service should prioritize for their patients. The different providers that I have met with are impersonal and rushed. Meeting with providers for 2 minutes every 3 months sucks. There also isn't any virtual check in between seeing providers (from the ones I have met with). Starting with a new provider, meeting with them for 10 minutes during our first time and then not hearing from them until I schedule my 3 month follow up. If I had access to another service, I would never use this one. Plus, the actual virtual customer service is also bad. Sending emails and never receiving a response, except from a automated message also sucks. 2/5”
“So far I have been very impressed with the help I've been receiving. The cost is extremely reasonable. Much better than any in-person meetings with a local therapist. And there's not many good ones near me at all. My therapist is awesome.”
