“With mY therapist, I don't always need to talk on a regular basis.
I would like to schedule it as needed and not when I get after getting multiple texts about its time to set an appointment.
However, with my doctor she makes me feel like asking med questions is just taking too much time out of her day.”
“It's just like going to see a psychiatrist in person except from the comfort of home. They genuinely care about you and are attentive to what you are going thru and the treatment plan.”
“I am very pleased with Brightside! Both my specialists have been responsive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I truly feel they have my best interest in mind. I'm only 2 months in to using Brightside and I feel optimistic, as although I have good and bad days, I'm overall experiencing small changes for the better. My experience with Brightside has done more for me than several years of in-person appointments with different therapists.”
“The medication I believe has help significantly. I am still getting used to therapy. This is my first time doing therapy. I enjoy Lessing to the lesson.”
“This is a poor experience all around. Zero guidance. I can't get in touch with someone for simple prescription needs. The website is not intuitive and it does not provide me with the straight forward process I need, which again is simple, just medication without lapse. I'm also getting a variety of bills at different rates and there is not breakdown of what any of it is for.”
“It’s nice to have access to see the team’s schedule and then pick a day/time that works for my schedule based on theirs. The text/messaging feature within the app is extremely useful when I have a simple meds question or refill request instead of needing a full on appointment.”
“Attributes that I love: the flexibility of scheduling appointments, the ease of use of the platform. The "Lessons" that can be done anytime. In addition, the therapists I've had so far have been great. Thanks for the work you all do!”
“I started out desperately needing help. Not wanting to go to a therapist in person because I was nervous. I didn’t know how to control my emotions, to constantly feeling helpless and angry- my therapist and psychiatrist have single handedly helped me through some of the toughest times of my life. Therapy has improved my life drastically. Talking to someone who can help you and provide amazing feedback is something a lot of people need in life. I do not regret taking the plunge on Brightside. What’s also awesome is that my insurance covers it and I just pay a copay. Thank you Brightside for making therapy easily accessible for those who don’t know where to start.”
