“I feel I should be doing much better and I am not sure I have the write therapist. I need to dig deeper into my behaviors, why and what steps to take to make it better. I am happy with my medication managment”
“I have now been canceled on by my therapist 3x within a few hours of my appointment. If I do that I get charged. It is not fair as I have set aside time for my appointments”
“Providers are always 10-15 minutes late or cancel last minute. As a mother it’s hard to coordinate appointments as is. I thought this app would make things easy. It’s been a pain. Might seek another company.”
“I have not had a good experience. The psychiatrist was great but the therapist pretty much blew me off. She ended our first call and then went on vacation and never got back to me.”
“I need to cancel. I can’t afford it and I thought I was signing for one month only to see how it went. Now I’ve been charged $95 for another month. How do I cancel this?”
“Frustrating that I cannot just make an appointment to refill my medication- in the "review requested" there should be an option to just make an appointment. The meds are working, I just need a refill, and that is not an option. Too many steps to make a follow up appointment.”
“It’s extremely hard to get ahold of my psychiatrist. I have been needing to get the paperwork for an accommodation I needed from work but I still haven’t heard anything back from her in a month.”
“Well, I have had two appointments and one of them was cancelled. This is why I left Better help. I got the feeling that as a telehelp patient isn’t as important as an in person patient.”
“I have had a fine time with the medication side of Brightside, but the therapist side is actually extremely frustrating. The therapists see so many clients and/or have extremely limited availability. If you want to see a therapist on a weekly basis, forget it. I can't imagine what it would be like if you were feeling particularly overwhelmed and in need of support. What makes matters worse is you get constant texts and emails telling you you need to see your therapist despite there being no appointments available with them.”
“Psychiatric nurse takes an authoritative tone yet displays ignorance, is dismissive of contraindications, and cites her own limited anecdotal patient history as justification to ignore research papers. My father is a psychiatrist. I’ve seen a few in my lifetime. This person is taking a one size fits all approach and is not well informed nor is she a good listener.”
“I have received the help I needed but the connection to provider is lacking and with the UI it is not clear how to connect with provider. It is lacking a personal element to feel cared for.”
