“I really like the convenience of it and I feel like my mental health has improved. I wish therapy was a bit more thorough. I’ve also had trouble getting timely responses from my provider and an issue with him submitting my medication correctly.”
“3/5 stars
It's definitely convenient! But has it's flaws... I unsubscribed from the therapy service, it's very expensive for only 2 hours of session per month. I don't think 30 minute sessions allow for any real traction in a conversation anyway.
I also did this because I randomly received a message saying that my therapist had been changed (several sessions in, mind you) - that caused distrust in the service. I'd really prefer to not have to keep re-introducing myself and building rapport with someone who may not be there.”
“My therapist has been able to provide me with thoughtful and constructive care but the psychiatry aspect of Brightside leaves a lot to be desired. Finding a psychiatrist took three weeks, after which getting a prescription was easy, but then I was ghosted. The online interface is pretty clunky.”
“Brightside is easy and convenient. Scheduling appointments can take a while and the psychiatrist was quick to medicate. My therapist is great but there's not much structure to treatment. Overall it's worth doing.”
“Good morning,
My rating is currently a 3. All started very well, but I left the therapy services due to my therapist not showing up and not answering my questions in the chat. I only have the medication plan now, and have requested a refill twice with no response as of right now, and I am almost out of medication.”
“It was good until I had my provider switched twice within two months so they weren’t able to fill my prescriptions without a new meeting then I am without my meds for a week for the second time because I couldn’t get any response over the holidays. I’m struggling majorly off the meds”
“This is a convenient way to see a doctor. However communication is limited to just messaging, this is the inconvenient part a Brightside. The Apple only gives you a number rating and how you’re doing and I’m not sure how this is helpful to the person that’s depressed.”
“Dr Isaac has given me a prescription that I think is working. I’m not sure how long I will need to take it?
Jaazar is really good at helping me cope and giving me suggestions to continue improving.”
“While I am overall happy with the care from my providers, perscriptions have gone unfilled for weeks and now appointments are being canceled without my knowledge. This is not acceptable.”
“I like the concept. I think you’re a little expensive especially for someone that doesn’t have a job. Not a huge fan of my doctor. Not the best bedside manner and takes a lot of time to return messages.”
