Brightside, I love it and it is so convenient for me! My therapist is wonderful and my plan for treating my mental health is going so well. I'm feeling so much better.

The medicine part of the therapy is great. The therapist was nice, but didn’t really engage much in a way that was helpful.

I do not like the constant check ins, AT ALL but I really like my provider. Very Good for my provider, Poor for the frequency of checking in.

I love the convenience and accessibility provided by Brightside. Most importantly, I love that I don’t have to relive past trauma or pain - instead the focus is on moving forward and having the tools and tips to do so in the most efficient manner. Clayton is amazing 🤩

Pros: - tracking progress with check ins - able to get both medication and therapy Cons: - can't schedule recurring meetings with a therapist - therapist matching doesn't feel very personalized

Brightside has helped me begin to overcome agoraphobia and most of my mental illnesses. They have outstanding providers and therapists.

Hi I’ve been comfortable with the service I am currently receiving from Brightside. I’m just a little concerned about my medication renewal. I feel like I’m running out before it gets renewed. That can be very stressful.

The help I have received from Melissa Moss and Shawn Smith have been incredibly helpful. I'm grateful I tried Brightside. My negative opinion of Brightside has nothing to do with quality of care, but of the design of the site and ease with applications. It took forever to book an appointment with Shawn Smith and the answers to my questions posted for help were frustrating and ineffective.

I signed up for Brightside because I could not find mental health care locally that didn't have a six month waiting list. So far, my experience with the platform has been poor. -My psychiatrist has yet to respond to my complaints about the side effects of my medication. -It took over a week for the billing department to respond to my inquiries about payment and costs based on my personal insurance. -While they accept insurance, the payment options for treatment are limited. You must have a credit card to sign up and there are no options for payment plans or setting a payment date, just "we charge you the full amount 7 days after your insurance processes your claim." Because I have no credit card and have to rely on a debit card, this severely limits the number of therapy visits I can afford and definitely increases my anxiety over potential overdrafts of my account. I need less anxiety, not more. That's the whole point. -My second visit with my therapist was delayed two weeks because of technical issues with the platform. For those of you struggling with mental health, you'll understand how much something like that can set you back. -The app is for IOS only. I'm sure many of the providers that use the platform offer great service to their patients, however I cannot recommend the platform itself.
