“I am pleased with the program. It is easy and stress free to receive care from the comfort of my home. My physician accommodated my work schedule and quickly identified an effective treatment plan. The medication arrives quickly and I never wait for refills.”
“3 out of 5.
I was happy to get diagnosed and work on my ADHD and Anxiety -- but I feel largely unheard when I mention it isn't working. I was told we were updating my meds but I received the same dose once again. I pay quite a bit monthly for this service and to feel unheard isn't.. great.”
“The therapy was so generic, bad, unpersonal, and quite frankly insulting that I gave up on it with several sessions left to go. The medicine stuff is fine.”
“Upon signing up for Brightside, I was placed with a counselor who didn't show up to our initial zoom call so I felt we had gotten off on the wrong foot. However, I let Brightside know and they were able to place me with another counselor and get me on a treatment plan that has been working tremendously. If you feel like you could use a bit of help, Brightside has what you're looking for.”
“Really a great option for those who don't have insurance. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the cost for therapy and meds is a bit excessive so I had to pick one, which was a difficult choice when feeling so extremely down. My provider is awesome though!”
“Can’t begin to explain how well this has worked for me. I was a wreck just 5 weeks anxiety wise .. my doctor worked hard to get me on 2-3 medications that gave completely changed my viewpoint on life for the better.”
“Brightside has given me the support when I need it. It was a quick set up, without having to wait long for my first appointments. I've been given support in all the areas I needed - prescription, counseling & practices to help me.”
“I find the convenience of Brightside to be outstanding. The doctors are professional, attentive, and caring, and the scheduling is easy, convenient, and there are plenty of time slots available.”
“Brianna Johnson, ARNP is a great provider. She takes time to figure out the best course of treatment and follows up to make sure the treatment is working. The patient dashboard is easy to use and medication arrives on time.”
“Bait-and-switch marketing. With Brightside, I felt a promising rapport during my intake appointment and felt encouraged with the treatment options we discussed. Only to have Brightside come back three days later and say I should go to an onsite doctor instead. Just like the other user said - they were all-too eager to have an intake appointment and charge me (after I had provided the exact same information through their screening questionnaire).
Brightside markets themselves as a niche provider that specializes in care for anxiety and depression. Yet, when I tried to receive specialized care for my anxiety, they vaguely suggested I go back to a general psych provider. But again, only after they had taken my money. Their marketing emphasis and their standard of care are disjointed. And honestly, it seems like that may be by design. I was thrilled to find a remote doctor, as I have social anxiety, so it was quite the bait-and-switch. Feel very let-down and deprioritized. Honestly feel much more hopeless as a direct result of their care team.”
