“I am a single mother, full time college student, and soooo grateful that I decided to starting using Brightside. It is so nice to be able to video chat a therapist and a psychiatrist. The lessons are very helpful and informative. They make me think about my mental illnesses in different ways and teach me ways around things and what is healthy. It is so nice to have the option to message my therapist or psychiatrist at any time of day. The safety plan feature is such a good idea. There is a crisis section you can go to if you need to. You can request meds to be refilled from the app (or website), you can reschedule appointments(24hrs in advance), you can change your preferred pharmacy. I am really loving Brightside, so far. I definitely would recommend it to anyone considering it!”

“My psychiatrist is great. She's always prepared and keeps track of my progress. Therapy is a different story. Tried to begin therapy twice and both times the "provider" cancelled at the last minute. This has planted deep roots of distrust in the therapy program and I cannot recommend participating in it. It's strange to receive submissions into a "drawing" for interacting with other departments at Brightside. It's a lottery, gambling, and not a great fit for people with impulse control issues. Again, more evidence of not really understanding the target community.”
