“Easy to use and good care, but falsely promises the use of preferred names (there is no option for you nor support to add a preferred name to an account) and is very pricey without offering payment options, unlike other online options, for students (outside of a first-month discount through Student Beans) or those of low-income households.”
“The app itself is abysmal and has way too many issues. The therapist and medication management provider are wonderful. I’d give them 5/5, but the app itself 1/5.”
“While it was easy to schedule my initially appointment, it was difficult to schedule subsequent appointments with the providers I wanted. I am not a fan of Brightside's tech platform. I chose Brightside be ause it was supposed to be no cost with my insurance yet it still cost me $38. If I have to pay then I am going to use another system.”
“it’s fine for what it is, but as far as “accessible” depression care - $100 is a bit steep for those of us struggling with financial instabilities. i understand that it’s much cheaper than most, and for that i’m appreciative - but $100 could go a long ways to help my family.”
“The app doesn't work. I've called customer support multiple times, and tried dozens of times to re-set it, re-download it, make new passwords, etc. Some parts of the desktop web browser don't work either- only blank screens. Even this review questionaire doesn't work- it doesn't allow me to click on which star rating I choose. I've been locked out of my account for weeks at a time. The check ins with the provider are a bit wonky - it asks me what side effects I'm experiencing, even if I haven't been prescribed any meds and doesn't give an option to select "no negative side effects." Among many other poorly designed questions and UI flaws. The idea of the service is great, but the implementation has been underwhelming.”
“Schedule issues and I just want to have my medication refilled without having to make appointments every month. My work schedule doesn’t accommodate monthly visits just to have my meds refilled”
“I do not feel like I am moving forward. I think I need medication for anxiety/depression
My Drs next appointment is on the 11th and I have to get up at 5am for it. I think I need to Change”
“3/5. I appreciate the check ins and notifications to force me to do it. But I feel like the check ins don’t really do anything since I’m never reached out to about the results. It feels like no one reads them.”
“The counselor and doctor are good, but trying to get out of their system seems impossible. They are not straightforward, but beat around the bush so you never feel you get a clear answer as how to quit their system and move on with your life when you are ready to do so.”
