“Overall it’s a decent service. It’s hard to find a therapist I like and it’s a chore to switch if your first pick doesn’t work out. They are also very strict about how often your therapy is. I won’t be using them anymore because I can’t afford to go as often as they want me to with my insurance.”
“I absolutely love the Brightside app. The psychiatrist I chose is the BEST, and listens to what I have to say. Answers questions professionally but still finds a way to be so friendly!”
“I have trouble with the app. It takes a while before I can request a review and if I click on different things like medication, it won’t let me click the back button. I have to close the app out completely and start over. I think there needs to be some improvements with the app then everything would fall into place a lot better. I also wish I would have had a better selection of Psychiatrists to choose from in the beginning. I had to switch because I wasn’t happy about the first one I chose. I just think the selection was really slim. I am happy with my new provider so far. Overall, app improvements and a better selection of Psychiatrist and Therapist would be very beneficial to Brightside. I am very thankful for a virtual program that accepts my insurance as it’s much more convenient for me to not have another doctor visit to have to go to. Thank you, Brightside!”
“Everything has been so easy and simple to get help. My doctor’s response time is great and the video visits make seeing a doctor a breeze. For someone with severe and limiting anxiety, it’s hard to want to leave the house to see a doctor so I appreciate the video visits greatly. The check ins are a great resource to track my mood progression also. We are still in the learning curve of finding medication that works for me but overall I’m very satisfied with Brightside.”
“I appreciate the 24 hour turn around on provider contact and the ease of access for psychiatric care. I do feel that providers should be more proactive with video-check ins with their clients, though. The little questionnaires only convey so much whereas the mental state is a nuanced thing to explain to someone.”
“Yes, everything has been fine on your end. My life is just a dumpster fire of bad luck and bad choices so it’s nothing that y’all are doing wrong. Well..besides fixing the connectivity issues. Also diagnosing someone after one meeting can be inaccurate especially basing it off of some metric of questions when that person is going through traumatizing events, ex: bipolar disorder. Which was not done by Jessica (current) but my previous therapist.”
“The easy access to mental health care through Brightside is amazing and affordable…great providers and easy to use app make it perfect anywhere anytime!”
