“Very Poor. The app was broken for me all month and it was impossible to contact my provider. When an issue with my prescription refill came up, it took 2 days for support to just say ok now you can access your provider messaging and then the provider just said to make an appointment next week. My prescription ran out today and this is beyond awful that I would have to wait a week to get more meds. This has been an awful experience and I am not going back”
“Provider is great. Concept is great as well, and I was able to get meds very quickly. However, website/app and support needs a LOT of work.
1) My provider wants to do a "review" with me, but neither of us know how to schedule it. The only option is to request a *medication* review, which is not correct, nor do I want that on my medical record. There is no way to schedule with her...no calendar page to pick a date/time, no way to look at her calendar to find out when to schedule, etc
2) I emailed support 5 business days ago and still haven't heard anything.
3) There is a "review requested" in my "Home" page, but it's not a link, nor does it provide any sort of scheduling options.
4) I get notifications from you guys to "check-in" at 8am on a Saturday, through email and sms. It's woken me up twice now on a Saturday, and obviously no one is working then, and there is no way to change the notification times.”
“I have been very happy with Brightside. I struggled to find a provider in my area that could see me quickly and with Brightside I had an appt the next day. The email prompts and follow up gently letting me know next steps and what to expect helped ease the initial anxiety of reaching out and getting help. Only thing I would change is I with they accepted a wider range of insurance plans.”
“I like the platform and convenience Brightside provides. It’s been really helpful for my spouse so I jumped at the opportunity to join.
I had limits options choosing my therapist and psychiatrist but was able to choose from the given list. I met with a therapist and had a good experience but didn’t feel the connection I would need to feel comfortable moving forward.
The app does not have options to change therapist in app. You have to email support outside the app. The support was responsive and kind. I think it would improve customer experience to be able to handle this in the app.

“The care providers are excellent. The scheduling platform and response to questions on how to schedule is bad. For example, my psychiatric NP says, "See you in four weeks Amy," but it is impossible to schedule 1 mo in advance. This is unacceptable, especially as I NEED continuously refills on my medications. Email preferences also very hard to update. I took me 3 weeks to get my email preferences straightened out with admin. Nicole and Amit need to improve.”
“Doctor is well versed in antidepressants which was a requirement for me.
I still think follow-ups should be at least 40 minutes. 15 minutes is untenable. If I were to join a different service it would be because of the 15 minute appointments.
What would I do in a situation where I had a series of issues that don't fit the alloted minutes?
I think because of the brevity of these meetings my doctor hasn't had time to know me as a person. Surely follow-ups should be there to reinforce trust not just manage drugs.
