Had 2 farm house giant burgers and 2 all day breakfasts between the 4 of us and could t fault it at all. Anna the lovely waitress who took our order and poured us cracking pints really made us feel welcome telling us all about the history of the pottery industry! :)
Thanks again for a lovely time and hope yll ok pop in again soon!”
“We have returned to Brindley Farm once again for a meal and as always absolutely lovely food also we were looked after by Karen once more, she was new the last time that we visited and must admit her standards are excellent still .
Thank you to everyone there absolutely loved our meal”
“All the staff were lovely and polite, we enjoyed ourselves very much especially for me as it was my birthday.
I feel though Greene King need to make sure they are not short staffed, we felt sorry for them- there was 2 people on the floor, was 3 on one occasion but then just 2.
they cannot do everything! we was polite to them too!”
“We can't fault Brindley Farm, we have never had a bad meal occasionally mentioned to them that some meat wasn't very good and always replaced with another straight away. The staff are very friendly and its value for money. Especially the breakfast.”
“A young lady Cheryl there yesterday helped us load the app explaining everything very helpful and so polite even brought our desert especially as she thought she took our time up. Appreciated her so much thank you Cheryl. Will definitely be going again and my wife 100% agrees. X”
“Visited the Brindley Farm Restaurant todayThursday 7th April to celebrate my birthday with my family.
I was not impressed by my whole experience.
There was not a member of staff on the reception, await of around 8-10 minutes before we received any attention.
There was a number of people waiting at the bar for drinks.
We ordered from the menu 3 rump steaks with accumpients we were advised there was a wait of 20 minutes .
We waited for an hour and then approached the bar and was advised the meal would be about another 20 minutes.
An hour passed but still no meal.
We again approached the bar and complained, a member of bar staff went into the kitchen, a wait of another 5 minutes.she came out with the meals and took them to our table with apologies saying they were short of staff. I enquired if the manager was available.
The meal which cost £13 pounds each was disgusting, the chips were dry as was the onion rings the egg yolks were hard, It looked as if the meal was thrown together in a hurry as if the order had been forgotten and certainly was not worth what we paid.
The young manager came to our table and apologised and told us it was due to staff shortages and she would refund the price of the meal. I showed her the meal and asked if she would pay £13 for this meal, she said no she would not.
I don’t blame the staff and I felt that the situation was down to young inexperienced staff.
I also visited the ladies toilets on the way out and they were disgusting as well, one toilet was out of use and the other two were dirty.
I got talking to another lady and she told me they had the same experience.
A table next but one to us left three meals untouched with a fork jammed into the vegetables as though in disgust.
I have used this restaurant many times but never been as disappointed as I was today.
My personal feeling about this was the staff are far young to cope and not supported enough was more experienced staff.
It will be a long time before I visit again.”
