“The person who helped me absolutely changed my opinion of Buell as a company after the disaster I dealt with from the store I purchased my wetsuit from. The store gave me a hard time and the run around after a suit purchased from them ripped on the seems and I had only used the suit a handful of times. The store would not exchange the suit even though the person who sold me the suit was present and I had my receipt. This was very frustrating and the scene they caused was truly unbelievable and unprofessional. Ultimately I contacted Buell and the customer service person worked with me on getting a new suit and change my mind from deciding to never purchase from Buell again to now having a positive experience and opinion of Buell as a company. This was the second suit I bought from Buell that tore on the seams and I also have one other suit from Buell that is great with no issues. The customer service rep helped me get a suit that was actually better in quality and that was refreshing. Unfortunately there was not any suits available in the color I previously had which was gray and black so I settled on all black which is not a choice I would typically make but that was all that was available. Regardless the service was top notch and i commend the rep who helped me because if not for them
I would never consider buying another suit from Buell but going forward when I need a replacement for my short arm long legged 2mm suit that ripped I will certainly buy another Buell suit to replace the one that ripped. I never received a shipping label to send back the full suit that ripped on the seams so if I can get that I will ship my ripped suit back to you. Again great customer service that honestly shocked me and at the same time was greatly appreciated and better than any company I have ever dealt with so hats off to you and especially the rep who helped me. “I own two suits. One is the RB2 4/3 hooded and I recently got the RB1 3/2 Accelerator. A few things I love are: 1) the sales and price points; 2) not all sizes across brands are equal and Buell is one that fits me better than others (though my head is a little too big for the RB2 hood); 3) it is relatively easy to get the over-the-head chest zip on and while it doesn't stop all water from getting in, it is still more secure than a back zip, IMO. Things I am not too jazzed about are the knee pads. For some reason, they rub on my knee kind of hard. The 4/3 affects my left knee and the 3/2 affects my right knee. I notice it more when I walk vs surfing but I had lingering soreness after multiple sessions with the 4/3. I have only worn the 3/2 twice and I really liked it but the gluing on the chest zip doesn't look super secure. It held up the two times I wore the suit but even before I put the suit on, it just looked like it had been pulled a lot or something on the edges. See photos.”

“Gotta love a new wetsuit!
I like that the arms and legs are just a bit longer than other suits. I like the geometry of the panels. The material is super stretchy which makes it easy to move in and easy to remove but a bit harder to put on.
Buelll would not take a return at their store on 41st.”
