“Delivery was incorrect first time round. Was missing 6 sheets of 11mm OSB. Then had to wait as could not be delivered that day or the weekend. Had to wait for my next day off the following Wednesday. When the next delivery came, The driver was very nice.(not a courier this time) although that guy was very good. I did ask a few questions though about the timber. As some were kitemarked and others not. The ones that were not do not seem as good as the kitemarked.- manufacturers mark. As in pressed (glued tight when made) the edges are a rougher kind and flake easy & they are a different colour (dull) not sure this will affect what I am doing “I hope” otherwise overall good. 👍 and cheaper than elsewhere Will add pics if required at a later date.”

“Good ordering and delivery service. The quality of the scaffold boards is poor. I have asked for your returns process a week ago but I have not had an answer so have chased again. Pleaase can you help?”

“Found Builders Marketplace to be very competitive on pricing and timber quality I received was good. Only issue was trying to get hold of someone to discuss delivery as was told it would be delayed. Took numerous calls and waiting on hold. If they could improve their customer service post-sale by recruiting more staff I would rate them 4-5 stars.”

“The quality of product was good, but packaging poor with cardboard ripped and corner protector missing when delivered. Delivery was also late, price for delivery was not cheap and claimed 2-5 days, took 9 days for delivery from order.”

“Hi, my experience of Builders Marketplace is that the communication regarding my order was good but I felt the delivery was expensive (£10) for one pegboard and the delivery took quite a while but its arrived and its exactly what I wanted and I couldn't find it anywhere else with the same thickness or cheaper etc. I'd have preferred a delivery price of around £5-6 at the most and it delivered within 3-4 days. I ordered on Monday 11th April and it arrived Wednesday 20th April. But thanks im happy with the board.”

“delivery took more than the 2-5 days promised. apparently, the carrier tried to collect but the depot was shut. No one had the foresight to contact the carrier to find out why they hadn't collected. It took three phone calls to find out where the goods were. They were eventually delivered by a different carrier who just left the goods outside the front door and didn't even ring the bell to say here are your goods. The only good thing was the price of the goods and delivery charge.”

“Good price for plastic corrugated roof sheets even after delivery charges. Unfortunately, although the staff respond to email fairly quickly I have still not received my order after 9 working days. Apparently, the courier has lost the order. How anyone can lose five 8ft × 3ft roofsheets is beyond me. Otherwise the company seem to be trying to re tidy the problem.”

“Good value and well packaged, however the hardboard sheet selected had a damaged corner. On this occasion it was not a problem because I was cutting the sheet down but it is a shame that you take such care as to use corner protectors but the item packed was already damaged.”

“Fast delivery but no email, text or phone call on day of delivery, luckily my son was in or nobody would of been home to accept. Some of the wood was quite warped & one piece had a bad split in it.”

“Incorrect order the first attempt, had to send it back. I informed them I'd not be home for the next attempt but it was still delivered and left outside (birch plywood so not ideal to be outside) for two days. Luckily didn't rain! That said - customer service was good and happy to help when I contacted them.”
