Really pleased with bulb and like you can give monthly readings so you can keep on top of your usage. They’re cheaper than my old supplier too.

I like the idea of a single variable rate provided it is competitive. It was good when I signed up but so far it has increased twice and is not competitive. I have never experienced the price going down, does it ever happen?

Hi Norman, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Sadly we've had to increase our tariffs twice over the last few months due to a significant increase in the wholesale cost of electricity and gas. This is not a decision that we take lightly and you can read a bit more about this on our blog: https://bulb.co.uk/blog/energy-price-watch-were-changing-our-prices-may-21 We always give 30 days notice of any price change so that members can decide whether to stay or switch away. Our gas price decreased in 2019 but covid-19 has caused the wholesale costs of electricity and gas to soar. Much better than my previous supplier. Better communication, always keep me informed, much cheaper (about £240 approx.per year cheaper). App is so easy to use and up to date with current status of my account. Would definitely recommend.

When I moved in they had a reading from the previous owner that was too low so they charged me £162 in my first bill for the previous owners energy. Then sent me notification that my tariffs were increasing. Nothing to recommend unless you ate taken in by their eco credentials.
