Very easy to transfer from our old provider and keeps us updated on how much we've spent.

Can’t fault Bulb at all, I’ve even managed to stay in credit. Which is a good thing with me as with all the other companies I’ve been with I’ve never been in credit. It’s the best thing I ever done was to sign up to bulb.

I have used Bulb before and been satisfied with their service and regular updates. However I was somewhat disappointed that having move to Bulb this time when identified as one of the cheaper options, after only a couple of months 2 increases have now made it one of the more expensive at a price not far below the government price cap. This was identified by Money savings expert.

Hi Theresa, Thanks for leaving us a review. We don’t like increasing our prices, but because our tariff is low to reflect the true cost of energy, we have to change our prices when wholesale energy costs change. After these changes, a typical member will pay £1.33 more for their energy a week. Gas and electricity looks very nice. But they promised me an in-room colour display many, many months ago - not arrived yet, so I'm disappointed

Hi Michael, Thanks for leaving us a review. It sounds like you are referring to the Warm Home Discount. If you're eligible for this without needing to apply, you should receive a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). However, if you didn't receive this, you would have needed to apply on our website for this. I'm sorry if you weren't aware that this was the case. You called me to arrange a transfer of my gas and electricity telling me that I should leave it all to bulb to sort out as your the best thing since sliced bread. You sent me a new electric key and have not transferred my gas, so I have lost the savings you agreed. Nobody has ever contacted me to tell me Why?

Brought me in on a package that seemed really good. Put the price up before I'd even switched and then again almost straight away. Hide the price rises behind supply costs, but blatant false advertising at it's best. Don't bother - little, if any, upside from switching.

We did have to increase these costs as a result of the cost of energy on the wholesale market and we have been upfront about this. At Bulb, we don’t have fixed-term contracts, or charge exit fees. So you’re free to change suppliers at any time. We’ve let you know about the changes 30 days before the new tariff takes effect. This gives you time to make a decision about whether you'd like to stay with Bulb. Finally, as with all suppliers, tariffs do change throughout the year. Unfortunately, we can’t give you advance notice because of this. We have been with Bulb for over four years, and in that time we have found them to be a top class company and group of people. Their tariffs are competitive and, if you find you have built up some credit, they will give a refund without any quibbles. Along with friendly customer services, you have the reassurance that all the energy you are using is from renewables! We would highly recommend Bulb to anyone looking for green energy.

I’ve never found a company as efficiently run as Bulb. From the beginning online through to even a change of address. I’ve been so happy with everything I’ve switched my elderly mum to them & we both received £50 credit.

App is great and switching was straightforward. I have a couple of gripes though. A few errors were made by Bulb in terms of pricing and dates and they offered up a £50 credit to apologise. Shortly after they withdrew their commitment to pay the £50 credit which was properly poor form. Also, I knew that Bulb was a variable tarrif but the price I'm now paying 2 months in is higher than I was paying with my previous supplier and the whole point of moving was to save cost. All-in-all I'm left feeling a little underwhelmed by the Bulb experience so far.
