Changed over from EDF as Bulb was cheaper in both unit price and standing charge. Wasn’t sure about having a monthly transfer to Bulb account as always had quarterly bill before but I send in a meter reading each month - get a reminder email from Bulb when it’s time to do this - and so my account is always up to date. My monthly bank transfer is accruing in the Bulb account so there is always enough to pay the bill but not too much over that I need to transfer any excess back. All in all delighted with the transfer so far.

Transferred to Bulb a few years ago for both my properties. Excellent customer service. Prices have recently gone up again, but not too much, so I will be staying with Bulb. It is good to be able to choose how much I want to pay monthly for my Direct Debit. They attend to any issues immediately. I recommend Bulb.

Only two months with bulb, already had two price increase yet they say 100% green can’t see how the cost of wind goes up so may be a bad switch, they can’t read my smart meters other than that they supply gas and electricity

Hi there, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. Wholesale costs are up by 29% since March, when we last changed our prices. What’s happening in the wholesale energy market is pushing costs up for every supplier, not just Bulb. Since the new price cap level was introduced in April, fixed deals have been increasing in price. Switch was straight forward and on time.Connectable by phone which was answered promptly. Clear advice given.Monthly updates given in clear language 're usage.Would recommend

I’m very pleased to have switched. I am saving a lot of money and energy and I think I have made the right choice. If I’d stayed with my last energy company I would still be paying more. I am very happy.

In the first 3 months after transferring to Bulb they put their prices up TWICE. Not happy at all!!

Hi John, Thanks for leaving us a review. I'm sorry for the timing of these price changes. Since we last announced a price rise in March 2021, wholesale costs have been on the rise. They're now 31% higher than they were in September. This means the cost of supplying energy to our members has increased. Because our tariff is already low, we have to pass these increases on to our members.
