“Great experience in the showroom in Battersea. Helpful staff talked us through the options, made coffee, and surfaced the customer return lines offered at a discount. The delivery process was easy to organise and good comms from the staff meant we were kept up to date on what time slot to expect it in.”

“Beautifully crafted beds with an amazing selection of designs and fabrics. I really enjoyed the full process. The delivery crew was very polite and lovely. I’m deducting one star as they have very sadly scratched my wooden flooring during delivery/ assembly which is a real shame.”

“Pleased with the assistance in showroom pre purchase and the quality of the bed. Bit disappointed the delivery men left two dirty marks one about 2 cms long and the other about 7 cms long on our newly decorated window sill. Fortunately they came off with Cif.”

“Had a few issues that delayed delivery but always kept informed and assisted by very helpful, polite staff who did everything possible to resolve issues. On the delivery day the construction was quick and efficient. Lovely, comfortable, quality bed. Would recommend.”

“I'm very happy with my Super King Ottoman bed. It's well made and it offers lots of storage space. The bed has really taken a centre stage in the room. The service from B&S is another matter. Within a week of buying and paying the bed we were told that they wouldn't honour the agreed timeframe because of wood shortage. I appreciate the prompt update but I can't take it seriously. Such a big company to have no knowledge of their stock and availability is something that raises my concern. Wood stock doesn't go low overnight so I would expect B&S to would have known this in advance to the purchase. I also have to take issue with the approach to getting customers to review: sending one sock and asking for a review to get the pair is dubious marketing practice. Let alone that given I had to wait additionally 6-8 weeks for my bed, it would have been a good idea to send us a couple of pairs as a good will gesture for the extra wait.”

Hi Bea, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and we are glad that you are happy with the quality of the bed. I'm sorry that you experienced a delay to the delivery of your bed. During the month of August, we (along with many other businesses in the UK) did experience a shortage of wood, which affected the lead time on all of our bed orders. This is the first time that we've experienced an issue like this, and it caught us off guard. We did however try our best to communicate the delays straight away to customers. I am sorry that you do not like the sock idea. Normally only a small percentage of customers take the time to leave reviews, so we thought that providing socks would encourage people to write reviews, good or bad.
