“After initially struggling to make the website work due to my companies Web browser firewall I emailed customer services who replied very promtly. I later spoke to an advisor who was extremely helpful and placed the order over the phone. An email confirmation was sent whilst I was on the phone for me to check all the details. A very efficient and friendly service. My tankard arrived within a couple of days and looks great. I hope my Dad likes it!”

“Excellent quality and service. The workmanship of both tankard and the engraving were of the highest quality. I ordered a tankard on the Saturday afternoon for a presentation on the following Wednesday: it arrived on time, even using standard delivery. I would definitely use buyatankard.com again if a similar circumstance arose. Thank you!”

“I purchased a half pint Old London Pewter Tankard for my wife. Delivery was extremely FAST, and the tankard arrived well packed and in good order. It proved to be of excellent quality and superb design, encompassing both stylish elegant good looks and a sturdy build. In my opinion this makes an ideal choice of tankard for a Lady. “I am absolutely delighted with my purchase I realised after I had ordered it that I had made a mistake with the engraving so I sent an email but thought it would probably too late so when it arrived with the revised lettering I was delighted it is very good quality and very nicely presented and it only took 3 days to arrive I could not be happier and I am sure my grandson will love too”

“Very helpful on phone and very quick to fulfill order in time (it was urgent as I needed a gift for an important occasion in a hurry). The tankard is of excellent, heavy quality and finish. I shall certainly buy from you again in the future. One minor niggle concerning the packaging: I asked for a blue presentation box but got a black one. This wasn't a big issue. However, the top of the supposed presentation box bore a huge imprint of buyatankard.com. This might have been acceptable in a more proportionate size on the side or back of the box or on a separate slip. As it is, I threw the box away and used my own gift wrapping. I certainly won't be needing your box with future orders!”

“I thought Pewter was a lot heavier than what I received. The item I got feels like plastic. It took longer than it said on the website and for the price I was very disappointed. I got it engraved and you can barely see the engraving. I am not happy at all.”

Hi Susan, Thanks for your feedback. Modern pewter is a lot lighter than people realise. This may be because traditional pewter is made of lead(and very unsafe!). We do offer a range of heavyweighted items if you're needing something sturdier in the future. All of the engraving is completed by diamond tip. It is quite a delicate process but needs to be for the metal. I hope this hasn't taken away from what should make a great gift. If you ever need help selecting in the future please don't hesitate to get in touch. ~Rach
