“Tankard was very poor quality - not blown glass but with two very obvious seams like east European market style! Not in blue presentation box but in tatty grey cardboard. Delivery was pretty slow but refund came reasonably quickly. This was a sraight sided glass tankard - perhaps others are better?”

Hi Brian, Sorry to hear you weren't too pleased with your purchase. We do have a wide range of glass and pewter tankards. This is at the lower end of them, but doesn't usually get returned to us. I'll keep an eye on this for future orders as it's usually a quality item ~Rach

I live in the USA and my delivery was updated and followed up with e-mails throughout the delivery process. Many thanks to staff member Rachel for her diligent updates and e-mail contact. Having never made a purchase from this company before, and making an international purchase, all my concerns flew out the window by Rachels considerate e-mails detailing the process and also sending me instructions on how to clean and care for this beautiful pewter tankard. “Delivered within a fews days & package was secure .. I was a little disappointed with the weight ... Thought it would be more chunky & heavier but it is a nice tankard & was better than I'd seen in the shops .. Husband absolutely loved it .. Thought the detail was fantastic & he use to sculpt dragons so I valued his opinion ... Loved it .. Thanks”

“Awful experience. I bought 2 glass tankards on 13th Dec. They arrived on 17th and were totally different from the pictures. I called up and was told I had to send some photos in to prove they were different. Did this, and they said they would send replacements but couldn't send them to a different address...and they would send the replacements "2nd class"...so obviously it was too late for Christmas. Normally when a website makes a mistake I judge them on how they remedy it...not impressed by that either though. Also, it's just rude to be asked to prove that what you have is incorrect!”

“Really nice item and great service from buyatankard. There was a problem with the first one but they sent out a second one as soon as I called them about it. Nice engraving, I used the Park Avenue font. I've got no problem with the font size used and it is perfectly readable and was as expected. All in all very nice baby tankard that matches the one given to me 38 years ago.”
