“Bought a gas heater and they didnt even bother to ring the doorbell. No instalation, no security check, nothing... they just resell the heater and ask you for a nice review... you need to do something to get a nice review...”

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. The heaters ordered on the Calor website and delivered by DPD. We are sorry to hear the courier did not ring your doorbell and left the parcel at the front door. This has been brought to the couriers attention. All heaters sold on the Calor website are safety checked by the manufacturer and pass all gas safety laws to be sold in the EU & UK. Portable gas heaters do not require any type of installation. They are a domestic product that arrive fully assembled, all the customer requires is a gas cylinder to complete the setup.

“First heater 3kw cathalitic fails to start. We really struggled with it for 45min and nothing. It was impossible to get it going. Ordered right away another model for my grandma. The Camilla 4.3kWh which is fab. Real warm and so easy to start but arrived dented up by DPD who tossed it over a 6ft gate. I have called again and now waiting for the 3kwh model this last whole week to be pick-up by DPD. I hope this gets resolved soon. I will not be paying anything more. I have called 3 times and explained it to 2 different people. I do not want two heaters...just one that actually works and is easy to start up by a 88 year old. I am happy with the Camilla 4.3kwh model..but the other one I do not recommend, very difficult to light up.”

“I purchased a gas heater which stopped working less than 2 years later , and when I asked for a warranty service was told that the unit was dispatched from an address in Northern Ireland so was not covered by eu warranty periods. and the responder was not in a mood to comprimise , very dissapointed , need to read the small print from this cowboy outfit.”

Thank you for your feedback Eric, it is very important to us. We can see that the heater you purchased from us came with a one year warranty period. As your fault arose 22 months after you purchased the heater the warranty period has unfortunately run out. Our website stated that the product came with a one year warranty period to ensure customers were aware of this before placing an order.

“Delivery was very prompt and I am very pleased with the product. Its everything I wanted. One very small issue. I Was very pleased to receive a 10 euro gift voucher which was totally unexpected but when I went to use it my local Calor supplier would not honour it.”
