This is my second review. Calor do not appear to have any after sales device at all. The catalytic heater that I bought is still very difficult to light and this renders the thing virtually useless. After numerous phone calls to Calor I am still no nearer to a solution. I keep being told to send the heater back but as I have constantly explained I do not have any packing for the thing and as you use a pretty useless carrier who incidentally threw the thing over a fence to deliver it which may or may not have damaged it, I have no confidence that the heater would arrive back with you safely and undamaged. Dealing with Calor has been a nightmare and I am a very dissatisfied customer. I have tried to speak to a manager but none is ever available I guess they are too busy dealing with numerous complaints! Please do something to resolve my complaints or do I have to go to the courts or the media to get some satisfaction.

I am very disappointed in the catalytic heater that I bought recently. The main problem is that it is very very difficult to light. No one at Calor was able to offer me any practical help or advice their only solution was to replace the heater but I only wanted a replacement if they could test one before delivering one to me. This appeared to be beyond their capabilities. Dealing with Calor has been a nightmare from beginning to end. It started when I placed the order on line. When I hadn't received the heater after one week I telephoned Calor to find that although the order was on their computer it had never been processed and I had to give my credit card details again. There were no instructions on how to fit the regulator with the heater and I eventually found instructions on YouTube. When I telephoned Calor to get advice on how to overcome the difficulties of lighting the heater the person who answered the phone although perfectly polite couldnt help me. He said he would investigate and call me back. Of course he didn't phone back so yet again I phoned Calor the next day to be told that they had the wrong phone number for me. The impression given is that the staff at Calor are a bunch of incompetents. The situation now is that I have a heater that I can light sometimes but not necessarily when I want to use it. I very much doubt that I would ever buy from Calor again.

We are sorry to hear that you were experiencing problems with your heater We can see from our records and phone calls that your first order was placed on our website by yourself but did not come through the system correctly and no payment was taken so a second order was placed over the phone. You had reported to our Customer Service Team that you were having some difficulty in getting the heater to light. Our advisor gave some troubleshooting advice over the phone and lit a heater in our showroom to better advise you on the procedure. Our Customer Service Advisor was unable to return your call as the contact number you provided on your order had an extra digit in it. Our Customer Service Advisor last spoke to you 9 days ago and you advised them you had since got the heater to light and it seemed to be working fine. It was explained that if you had any further issues we would of course have the heater collected, tested and replaced if faulty. We have not heard back from you regarding any further problems with your heater. A member of our Customer Service Team will be in contact with you today to have this resolved.

I paid for 2 day delivery and was waiting 7 days,rang customer service several times and they said they would get back to me,nobody got in touch,i found the parcel on the wall outside my house and was never notified of delivery,also was never offered the extra i paid for quick delivery back.

The item purchased, a patio heater,was shipped with the incorrect parts. It was only when it was almost completely assembled would you jotice. The incorrect parts make it impossible to complete. What's more when I contacted Calor, they just passed the matter on to the another company stating they don't supply the items. This is very frustrating as one of the reasons for purchasing the item from calor gas direct,was due the reputation of the company. It seems they have washed their hands once the payment has been made.

I received the product within 2 days of ordering approc26th June O/N 4000014631. The top hinges were incomplete and a replacement was promised on the 7th July. I have still not received this despite many emails. I cannot use the BBQ and I am understandably very disappointed

Excellent delivery service but the product instruction were very very poor. A number of parts were missing or wrong.

It does what it says on the box! Ordered my Cadac safari Chef 2 BBQ and it arrived 3 days later. Easy to assemble, simple to use and can be cleaned after each use very easily. Michael Sheehan

The gas heater we received had a damaged part. We didn’t open the box until 2 weeks after it arrived as we were working and didn’t have time to put it together. We discovered the broken part and rang Calor and they told us it’s our problem because we didn’t open the box within 24 hours so now we have to pay €80 on top of the €400 we already spent to get a replacement part that was broken when it arrived. I will never be shopping with calor gas and I would not recommend them to anyone that asks. I think the customer service is a disgrace. The box was just left at the front door by DPD and they drove off before knowing if anyone was home to take it in. The whole service is a shambles and the customer just doesn’t matter to them.

We can see from your telephone call that you reported to our advisor that the box had some external damage when the delivery was made. Unfortunately, our policy states that all damages need to be reported to us within 24hours to allow us to place a claim with the courier and have the issue rectified. Item ordered 6th June. I had to follow up as still not received within the agreed timeline 2 - 5 working days. Item sent via DPD to UK!!! Cancelled order and expected to receive a refund within a week. Still no sign of refund on 23rd June.

The order that I placed was subject to fraud. The IT Security on Calor Kosangas sytem is not fit for purpose and is seriously deficient. Can you give me a phone number that works where I can talk to someone of sufficient authority so that I CAN GET COMPENSATED for monies deducted from my bank account by fraudsters. Thank you for your review. As confirmed in our email correspondence, we at Calor take security of our products very seriously. In addition to the standard offering of security by our market-leading platform provider, we also employ a robust range of security tools, including Firewall, website monitoring and automated patching. The type of scam you came across is called “smishing”, which occurs when a malicious text message is sent to your phone. This is outside of Calor’s control. It is recommended that any victims of this type of fraud report same to An Garda Síochána and their bank/credit card provider.

I have already written mails of complaint. Fastway Courier did not complete the shipping label properly. In any event my Eircode was included but that was not used to locate my address. It took 2 weeks to get the order delivered.
