I was sent an ordinary on-off unit rther than the thermostat one I ordered and paid for and it had to be replaced.

Had a problem with the gas heater supplied. Would not light . Calor gave me the contact number for the local representative who never returned my calls. I also contacted Hamiltons who promptly organised collection of faulty heater.and repaired same. Service from Calor extremely poor. Service from Hamiltons very good.

Nowhere near as good as the models made years back. Doesn’t feel great heat even seating next to it and I’m sure it is using more gas

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. The heater you ordered is the Blue Flame heater. This is a convective-style heater. It draws in cold air at the bottom and feeds it through the burner to release warm air from the top. It is not a radiant heater like the original ceramic brick version that would radiate the heat around the room. We explain the difference to customers so they are aware of the different types of heaters before ordering and select the version that is right for them. The Blue Flame heater has a 4.2kW burner with a gas consumption rate of 315 grams per hour at its maximum heat setting. This is the same consumption rate as a radiant heater.

I ordered a Tomahawk BBQ from the Calor website. It arrived in no time which was fantastic. Relatively straightforward to put together, again which was great. The only down side was that screen that goes to the front of the BBQ has no pre drilled holes which meant fitting it was a problem. I had to drill holes in the screen myself to fit it which was disappointing.

First heater 3kw cathalitic fails to start. We really struggled with it for 45min and nothing. It was impossible to get it going. Ordered right away another model for my grandma. The Camilla 4.3kWh which is fab. Real warm and so easy to start but arrived dented up by DPD who tossed it over a 6ft gate. I have called again and now waiting for the 3kwh model this last whole week to be pick-up by DPD. I hope this gets resolved soon. I will not be paying anything more. I have called 3 times and explained it to 2 different people. I do not want two heaters...just one that actually works and is easy to start up by a 88 year old. I am happy with the Camilla 4.3kwh model..but the other one I do not recommend, very difficult to light up.

Hi, product received in timely fashion, however something wrong with it. When on higher mode working well, when on mode 5 or lover very strong gas smell present.

I purchased a gas room heater and it's quick to heat up large rooms but I do find that it gives off a smell that's not great. It's safe as I have carbon monoxide alarms near by but I'm hoping this smell goes away.

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. There will always be a smell with gas heaters. Gas is being burned inside the unit, the combustion process is happening. It all depends on how it would affect you. If you have had gas heaters before, you will not notice it. If you have not, we would advise visiting someone who has one before purchasing.

We have checked your orders, and the third heater you ordered differs from the first two. The manufacturer does not supply it with a metal guard at the back of the heater, instead, it is supplied with a plastic cylinder support strap to support the gas cylinder.

First time I used a gas heater as I’ve got a cold room. Heats up really quickly but I’m getting a gassy smell - is that normal with this unit?

Gas is being burned inside the heater. The combustion process is happening. This can affect some customers, were others will not notice it. We recommend visiting someone with a gas heater before purchasing so you are aware of its suitability.

I was happy with the product initially, however after a few days of use I began to have intermittent issues, the pilot light will not stay on and the heater cuts out after about 30 minutes. I have emailed info a few times with no response as I want to ensure I am using the unit correctly or if there is a fault with my unit.

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. The end of the 8mm hose can be softened in warm water making it easier to push onto an 8mm nozzle. It can take a bit of force to attach for the first time.

In fairness, your delivery and indeed your driver, were punctual and in the latter's case efficient and tidy. My rating is a reflection on the obscene expensiveness of oil. My wife and I are OAPs and finding it difficult at trhe best of times.

Hi there … very pleased with the ordering and delivery process. The delivery drivers communication in advance of delivery was excellent. We are delighted with the product and have it in use! It is working brilliantly. One thing just to note about a possible fault please see attached pictures of bent rack … the metal seems stressed so don’t think it’s meant to be like this ? Thanks Calor

Im happy with order but i didnt recieve hose are connerion with order i thought it sholud have come with it but happy with the actual item im unable to try the otem untill i can get hose an connection

Great service really fast delivery time, unfortunately, the after service is poor. I tried calling the number on the delivery docket to report the damage to the front of the cabinet but no answer, tried again the next day before I used it still no answer. Working well, great heat from panels.

The "universal" regulator fitting I purchased from "calor gas.ie" was not compatible with my Irish Calor Gas bottle. Perhaps this could be highlighted in the product description for future reference.

Thank you for your feedback Catherine, it is very important to us. Unfortunately, the product you purchased does not come with a hose and regulator, these need to be purchased separately. It does state on the product specification on our website that this product is not supplied with a hose and regulator. We also have a handy guide under the product's optional extras to assist customers in choosing the correct hose and regulator for their product.
