“As an optical viewfinder, the only drawback is the non exact correspondence between the vviewfinder and the final frame. But, with few practice shots, you gets the point. And on very sunny days, it is a great help to frame.”

“I had problems with online order, then a problem with delivery because FedEx had an issue with delivering but was happy with the customer service and had my next day delivery refunded. If it wasn't for a great experience in the Bristol store and great product quality, I'm not sure if I would order online again in the future after the hassle.”

“I had tried to source an item from 2 other retailers before Calumet without success. Calumet came to the rescue with Alec at the Glasgow store coming up trumps! Well done Alec, well done Calumet! Highly impressed with the desire to help, the friendliness, the fact that Alec kept me informed and phoned me back when he promised. Calumet are now my go to choice for all things photographic! “Hi Neil at the soho shop sold us a Fuji XT1 kit!.......the man has a wealth of camera knowledge and a passion for photography that is infectious, people like Neil are hard to come by, your extremely lucky to have such an employee, its the reason why people return and recommend businesses when the people who deal with you are into what they're selling and not just painfully going through the motions as is mostly the case these days?! “In the past I ordered from Jessop or Amazon until I found the Calumet was available to in Bristol. I went in and spoke to a staff member called Andy about my photography needs and was very helpful. There was no pressure on trying to sell me anything. I will definitely keep using them in the future.”

“Ordered 6 different types of film, I've received two large boxes to sign for so far, one containing lots of packaging and 3*TriX, and one lots of packaging and one 5-pack of Portra. Two different delivery companies. How many more packages before I get the full order???”

“I ordered on the 8th March, selecting free next day delivery. Six days later and the product finally arrives. Not good enough. The Honl Traveller 8 is a fantastic product though, despite the high price. I've got a couple now which I use with Nikon Speedlights. They work a treat and are ideal if you want to shoot portraits without a studio to back you up. So - great product, bad delivery. Perhaps a one off on the delivery front, but if you need something from these guys quick I'd confirm with them first, and maybe just pop in to collect for peace of mind.”

“I have had to give a 5 star review for this fantastic company. To start with I am based in the Scottish Borders and have been planning to launch a professional studio. This resulted in me having a lot of questions about: What lights do I choose? What do I all need? What stands are the best? And much much more Well for me I am a big be liver in testing what I want to buy. I had done some prior research which really helped me to understand what the salesman was advising and resulted in him getting a very good sale and customer for life. For me my local store is in Edinburgh and they have a studio to practice in with the lights to let you get the feel of them. Well after going through a few I knew that it had to be the profoto D1 500 w units with the magical Air Remote. Ti ended up getting very well built, heavy and steady C Stands. A Seconic 308 light meter that works with my nikon D810s low native ISO of 64. The salesman I dealt with was a guy called Ronnie who had endless patience and lots of knowledge. Because the lights I wanted were not in stock I asked if I could get all the equipment in one shipment. Not a problem. I even added to the shipment over the phone with no problems at all. These local stores make it a lot easier for the professional and consumer. Have a visit to one of there shops and look around. Have a nice face to face chat and get the answers you need.”

“Calumet Edinburgh - The best staff and a great overall buying experience! John and Kat were very helpful throughout the process, allowing me to trial two cameras I was thinking of buying before making the final decision.
