“Extremely unhelpful staff, very non-responsive. I tried to place an order for a Wacom Tablet to be delivered to an address where my friend was staying in London. The billing address is different from the delivery address, and upon requesting verification of the address, I responded immediately only for them to decide to "Flag" the order and after several attempts that cost international calls to get a hold of the staff. The staff at large were extremely unhelpful and didn't even offer to proceed even following the verification of address, full payment transfer and quick responses on my end, they just "felt" that they need to cancel the order and refund the payment. Went on to another supplier who proceeded with the order instantly without the unnecessary waste of time and hassle.”

“The man who sold me my Sony A7ii in Edinburgh has always been open to chatting, sharing stories and offering help. To keep me sane I like I wander the store in Leith and gawk at all the gear I can't afford. The guys and gals at the store in Leith are fun, enthusiastic and it is these traits that bring me back to Calumet, opposed the cheaper, but less-fruitful whims of the world wide web. And it is these returns that ultimately led me to using Calumet and trusting the business with my needs as a film-maker.”

“Calumet Belfast has been on two occasions recently excellent to deal with, a handy store to park at, both David in taking my initial call, keeping me posted on my new Nikon 35mm lens coming into store and Kelly who gave me brilliant advice on two 18-70 mm used lens that she sourced, checking both out in store which helped my decision on which to purchase , also checking out a battery charger for me, excellent service, expert advice all conducted both on phone calls and in store with an enthusiastic manner.”

“I bought second hand Canon TS-E 24mm L lens from London - Drummond Street brunch last week, unfortunately I was wrongly advice by a lady on the phone when I paid a deposit for the lens, I asked Indira, the girl on the phone, if the lens was the L II series but she told me there was one model only hence I paid and picked up the lens 15 days later once I was back in the UK. I just released there is a LII series of that lens but I’ll only be back again in the UK in May 2017. I wrote an email to the customer service asking if I could swap the lens that I bought for brand new LII series in May 2017 when I'll be back in the UK, Paul Jablonski from the customer service, said that even if he could listen at the call and proving Indira mistake, the only help he could provide me was receiving the lens back and selling me the brand new L II series with no shipping fees. I told him I was in Colombia and and the shipping fee would probably be to expensive but I never got a reply about it.”

“At first I was not aware of such store as Calumet Photographic and was struggling to get the right level of knowledge and expertise that Currys, Jessops or other cannot give you. I have to admit that after just one visit this is now became my #1 and only shop for all photo equipment, repairs and service etc. Regarding the price - was shocked that what I was looking for was at the end the cheapest with best benefits at Calumet! Thank you team!”

“I recently made a trade-in on 2 of my Canon cameras for the Sony A7R11 plus a Metabones adapter. And the staff at the Bristol branch were fantastic. Sorted out a price match for me, Which I was very pleased with as it was the best price I was offered anywhere online. Got the goods into the shop so I could test them out So I couldn't be happier with their help. Thanks to all at Bristol branch”

“I use Calumet quite a bit recently; both online and the Manchester shop. I've both hired and bought gear from them. The staff in the Manchester shop are outstanding, happy to offer advice or just chat about what you do. The prices are as keen as you'll find anywhere and the levels of service you get couldn't be bettered. I won't go anywhere else now. Try it. You'll see I'm right.”
