“I ordered a Calumet Camera Adapter for Canon with N-3 Plug on February 21st 2016 and it's now April 12th 2016. The item is still showing as out of stock on the website, and there has been no information regarding restocking or if the item is discontinued. Glad it's only a small adapter and nothing more expensive.”

“Staff were very happy to sell you an item (or two), staff in store and on the phone are polite, but can sometimes come across like they know better than you without knowing you, but were unable to get stock in on time. I waited 4 months for a product to eventually be delivered to me, after making several calls and sending several emails.”

“Fantastic service from Drummond Rd London, staff were helpful and saved me some cash . My first visit as I usually frequent Manchester but in London for shoot and lacking a couple of bits and pieces. Busy place with seminars going on and people buying and hiring. Definitely my first port of call for any kit I need, very impressed . Thanks”

“On my most recent purchase - I responded to a flash sale of a Heavy Duty Background Support System. Great - I managed to get the Heavy Duty one for near the same price as a standard one. However, whoever thought the flash sale offer up did not think what else a buyer might need and did not include any accessories. So..... I am still looking for some further cross bars and, the other thing I was considering when I was looking at the standard background system was the option to buy it as a posing set including stool and table.... thus I still need a stool and table..... If an enticement was available at the time I may well have bought all together whereas, now I am looking at all the alternative suppliers and comparing prices.... Oh - and one last thing..... when the set arrived and, of course, I needed to set it up to make sure it all worked....... I did not know from the web site listing whether I had actually received the Heavy Duty or the standard set..... I looked again later and found the Heavy Duty set extended the supports higher so I am relying on memory that indeed it did look that high. I think in actuality you used the same picture for both sets Richard”

“Needing a backpack for camera and tripod carrying and after checking online for local camera shops which are now few and far between, I made my way to Bristol. The young man who helped me with my purchase was very helpful and knowledgeable and I came away with exactly what I wanted and not too badly priced.”

“I was trying to buy a Canon Pixma Pro100S, but because of a deal promoted by Canon, the printers were showing out of stock on all the authorised dealers' websites until I found Calumet, which had one (just one!). I purchased it on-line late in the afternoon and received it first thing the following morning. Excellent.”

“My first visit to Calumet Photographic was just as I hoped it would be. Fast service from the person behind the counter, and very helpful when I inquired about ordering Kodak 120 film. With the best prices I have seen in London for 120 film, Calumet is definitely going to become my local Photography shop.”

“So I was happy with the ordering process and the items arrived around the estimated time and I was glad that Calumet matched a better price so product so saving me £100 :) As the product I ordered was a special order, I know it would take around 20 days to arrive. My disappointment was that I emailed your staff member who processed my order asking for a status update around 15 days after I made the order but I didn't have a reply from them. 8 or 9 days Later I sent Another email requesting a status update as I hadn't had a reply from my previous email to them and they asked for my order number and then the next day informed me that that item was on its way and I would have it that day. I was surprised that no update on my order and shipment notification was sent to me (which I was told would be the case) and no tracking information was provided when I was told the order was on its way, I then asked the person (who was dealing with my order) to send me the fedex tracking number and they simply sent a screenshot of the Fedex shipping info...this is a bit lazy in my opinion! If someone is spending in excess of £2000 I would expect a certain level of decent customer service. I hope this provides some helpful constructive criticism.”

“People matter and my experience of buying from the Drummond street branch demonstrated why people count . I was given thoughtful advice , recommendations were made and once I had made my purchases the person helping me tested that all the equipment worked well together, you do not get that on the internet. Price was matched, helpful tips given , jokes shared , a great experience, thanks to Ross and Jamie. Experienced staff sharing knowledge and offing a good deal as well.”
