“The main attraction to purchase from Calumet was the interest free credit they offered at the time. The whole process could be improved. Firstly, I don't think the instructions are clear enough from the start. After filling out the form, I was left wondering what happens next? I have not filled out the interest free application yet! I waited a while to see if I would get a further email but never did. I phone Calumet who in-turn called the finance company to resend the link. The form took about 2 minutes to complete and to be approved which was very quick. As this was purchased on a Friday but with finance, I wasn't sure when I would receive my product so I emailed them to make sure someone could take delivery! I waited a couple of days with no response. The item arrived on the Tuesday which I was brilliant but why no tracking no? For an expensive purchase, this should be a must! Even one paragraph to explain the process would be nice! So, after completing the form, I never heard back from them until after I received my item and only in reply to my original email. No dispatch information, no estimated delivery, no tracking, nothing.”

“Ordered a lens online and payment was taken immediately however 3 weeks in and I'm still waiting so I called. Turns out its discontinued so I've had to order an alternative and that's another 2 week wait!!!!”

“I read on the website and was told by a salesman that the Price Promise was active. When I ordered a full set of Canon inks I mentioned that they were cheaper from a genuine seller on EBay and was told that they did not enact the price promise as the items may be 'GREY IMPORTS'. I was using a voucher which would have covered the lesser cost but had to pay £12 to get my order. My 2nd but last order.”

“Calumet didn't make me very happy. Delivery took longer than I'd expected & came when I wasn't in so I had to rearrange delivery with Fedex for three days later. Calumet didn't have stock of one item I ordered & have given no indication a week later when I'm likely to expect delivery - probably when I'm away again.”

“Made a purchase in your Birmingham store, assistant very helpful and extremely proficient. He had not got the item in stock but informed me I could have it mailed to me within 24 hours. True to his word next day it arrived. Excellent service will ensure i will return.”

“Placed and order only to be later told that the camera was out of stock. At which point I cancelled the order and purchased from elsewhere. A week later a camera arrives from Calumet and money was taken from my account. It took over 2 1/2 weeks for my money to be returned. My 1st and last time using Calumet”

“Having recently visited the London store and bought a new camera I very much like Calumet. I ordered the camera interest free through their finance offer. Everything was smooth and it arrived quickly. I have taken a star off for the lack of communication. My order was supposedly completed with no email confirmation or tracking code.”
