“I don't usually leave reviews but the service here was so good it would be criminal not to. I called for advice before ordering and the call was dealt with very politely and promptly. I then ordered my items at 2.45pm and they were delivered FREE next day at 8.00am! Amazing customer service.”

“Ordered a Tenba messenger photo bag on line over the weekend. Arrived Tuesday (next working day) as promised, with no delivery charge :-) Account tracking info wasn't updated while in transit, which would have been helpful. Other than that all very good service, including prompt and concise response to a phone call in lieu of tracking info.”

“Customer service is very good, my only complain is about the lack of products. You have a huge shop but looks empty, almost everything excluding bags, tripods and small thing have to be ordered. I keep wondering when Calumet with have a decent shop with a great stock of cameras, lenses and everything else in London. I'm not asking you to be as amazing as B&H in NY, but if you cold be half of it, would be great. Joas Souza”

“Only just got this but reckon I could have done with it a long time ago. It easy to use and the recharge is very quick. I've only done a quick test on it and not used on a job yet. Only possible issue is that is says after 40 full power flashes on a hand flash unit you need to let the flash unit cool down...might not be ideal on a job unless you swap flashes over.”

“The website is so easy to navigate and their prices are pretty competitive, and a big plus is they offer finance, very happy dy for the larger purchases. Ordering was a doddle and their delivery is very quick - next day is always nice! I had to contact them as the order appeared to be stuck but they were very prompt in getting back to me to assist. All in all Calshot are a great company who know how to treat their customers. I'd have no hesitation to buy from them again.”

“I purchased a Canon 5ds from Calumet during their open day in Manchester. Whilst the store was super busy I managed to be served by a few different members of staff within a few minutes of arriving. Everyone was knowledgable and happy to help. They didn't have the camera in stock but they managed to get it delivered to me the very next Saturday. Awesome service as it always is at Calumet.”

“The order was placed after 1500 and I did not expect the item to be delivered the next day. However, the item was delivered before noon on the next day which is outstanding. This is not the first time I have bought an item from Calumet and it is reassuring to find that their service is still outstanding.”

“Product arrived as described in a timely fasion. However, I had to provide a copy of photo id and utility bill as there was a problem confirming my address. I have shopped off many online retaliers and never had this happened to me. On getting this sorted, the package was then delivered to a house roughly 10 miles away from my own. It was not left with a person, simply left at the house, I was very lucky that 1)It was not raining and 2)That the person was kind enough to meet me and give me the parcel. Had I have been not so lucky, said person could have kept the pricely equipment. Very dissappointed with this delivery service. The negative aspects of this review are more concerned with how FedEx delivered the real parcel, but if I was calumet I would be looking for a new better courier. Calumet's service was average to good!”

“Loads of hassle informing Fed-Ex (who wouldn't take my instructions) and then Calumet (who spent ages contacting Fed-Ex) that I wasn't going to be in on the delivery day.”

“I have been a calumet customer for many years. I recently needed some backup flash units and ordered a set of Bowens flash heads. Being in Edinburgh I imagined they would have to be ordered in from London. That was not the case, the lights were in stock and I picked them up the very next day. Good service as ever.”

“Delivery of lenses was next day with added bonus of being able to get delivery to workplace. Very efficient service and was pleasantly surprised they phoned my workplace just to check I did actually work there as added security. Got free monopod thrown in as well for good measure. No hesitation buying from again.”

“I am a professional photographer who has just started my business up on my own. I secured 3 contracts and a bunch of weddings. I required 2 new lenses for these contracts. I ordered x2 lenses at the end of April totalling over £1000 which is alot of money to shell out when just staring out. The most urgent was the Tamron 24-70 which o was told would take around 2weels to arrive. 1 week before the first of my weddings I had still not received this lens and the customer service was less than poor. I had to have money refunded and buy one elsewhere (the company I got it from was the same size as calumet and they had 10+in stock). I am still awaiting my second lens which has a supplier issue. Inhvebrecives very little in customer support/apologises or alternative solutions. Today I have been infomes the solution is to have my money refunded! Great news! But how am I going to tell my clients for the 5-6th time I need to hold of even longer to complete the signed and part-paid for contracts!!! I am now 1month overdue to complete these and may loose them in turn leaving me in a very very very bad position to continue as a photographer! I am very very diapointed with the service, supply and quality of everything involved with the Glasgow calumet store.”

“I recently upgraded my camera to a higher specification model. The level of service and attention to detail offered by the sales assistant, and the advice offered on the variety of options to consider was outstanding. A couple of accessories that I needed weren't in stock, but they worked hard to locate them from elsewhere and arranged to have them dispatched to my personal address at no additional cost. First rate service and customer care. I will be using them as my first port of call for all my photography needs!”

“I bought a Vertex 200 camera bag at the recent open day in Glasgow, which was discounted from the normal price. It was effectively a third cheaper than the best online price I could find so I was extremely happy with it.”
