“I used carfax to check on a car that we were looking at for our daughter. the previous owner was very honest with us about the car . We just wanted some piece of mind before turning our daughter loose in this car. We found out that the car was a very good deal and the owner told us the complete truth about this car.”

Please do not hesitate to invest in your traveling safety and get the best brand for car maintenance and service history. If this product would have been available 20 years I could have avoided many awful experiences. I trust Carfax!”

“It was very important to my family to find a car that only had one owner and was well taken care of. The care we purchased was for my daughter who just turned 16 and we wanted everything to be safe and perfect. While searching the internet we came across a PT Cruiser that was right in our price range. CarFax helped us get the history of the car to ensure that it was exactly what we were looking for..good news..IT WAS!. It turns out we weren't the only people looking for something specific. The owner of the car was no longer able to drive. She didn't want to sell the car to just anyone. She wanted to sell it to someone who would cherish it and take care of it just as she did. She even had a name for it. Jenny. When we got in contact with the owner it was like the car fox had turned match maker and set us up with the perfect car from the perfect owner. So here is a big THANK YOU to you CarFax from the Hebert family and Jenny the PT Cruiser!”

“Carfax was the best money I have ever spent on a car. I have been looking fora mazda rx8 for a long time thought I had one till I ran the carfax it was in 4accidents and the mileage didnt match! Then I found my dream rx8 everything checked out and I haven't had this much fun in a car since I was a teenager!!!!!!! Thanks for the help! I only wish the time to get the report was longer sometimes your dream car doesn't come along in that short of time.”

“Several years ago we were searching used cars for my husband to drive to work. He found one he liked and checked it over very carefully. We found on the carfax where the mileage was 100,000 miles more than what the seller was stating. We still bought the car because it was in great condition, but we got it for a substantially reduced price!”

“I was interested in a Ford Explorer and it was a really good deal. It looked like it had been taken care of well and the price was exceptional. I pulled a CarFax on the vehicle and when reading the report I made my decision. The report had a lot of information about the vehicle and gave me the additional confidence I needed to make the decision to buy. It's been a great vehicle and when I took the car in to get the fluids changed I passed the report to my mechanic and he said it was great information and made it easier to taylor my visit there since I didn't know a lot of pre owner history.”

“I was able to get a report on a van I already purchased. It helped me by knowledgeable information why my van was giving me problems; the report showed me that my van was in a accident that smashed the front end. This let me further know that getting a car fax before purchasing a vehicle is a MUST to prevent future headaches and stress.”

“I have owned two of three of these vehicles since we bought them new so I already knew their history. Just wanted to see the carfax report. I thought the report would include at least major mechanical issues, but it did not. If I was buying another car I don't think I could depend on Carfax's history report covering all the issues. And, on the third car it reported that the speedometer wasn't right and it was all in red, stating a violation. It was only off by a few hundred miles which was an obvious oversight on the part of the technician that tried doing the last vehicle inspection report. Maybe he looked at it wrong or wrote it down wrong or something. I would have appreciated them telling me how to get this corrected. I was a bit disappointed. If I had not already known their history, I probably would have been satisfied with it. ( :”

“I needed a more comfortable vehicle as my wife has been under going chemo treatments since January of this year. I have always trusted Carfax for reliable information about vehicle histories. After some lengthy research, I decided that I wanted a late model Honda Pilot. I found exactly what I wanted and with the Carfax to back me up I purchased the vehicle. It's been a couple of months now and I've had NO issues with the Honda and I really love it! So does my wife. It makes those long trips for chemo so much more bearable and comfortable. Thanks Carfax for making vehicle histories no mystery!”

“I went to buy a corolla that sounded good on the ad. In person the car seemed great, drove well, no noises, new tires. Upon inspection of the carfax, the guy was telling the truth about the car and how it ended up from Kansas to NY. I bought the car and it's been great ever since.”

“I was interested in purchasing a particular car from a used car dealership. Not ever having used Carfax, it gave me all of the information that I needed regarding what the car had been used for, any unnecessary things that were keeping me from making the final purchase not knowing just from looking at the car from the outside. It explained it in a way that I would understand if there were any prior accidents, flood damage and things that would end up costing me a fortune to have repaired. I would whole heartedly recommend Carfax to anyone who is considering purchasing a used car.”

“A very quick and efficient way to find out if the car has a clean title, mileage accuracy, any wrecks and hopefully the major service items that have been done to the car. Also all of the owners and where they lived. This is important when you want to make sure the car was not from a flood area, rust belt area or in a high humidity area that may shorten the life of the car. I also look for the least amount of owners, generally the fewer the more likely the car was a good one and taken car of. So this makes for a really fast and easy way to sort out the bad ones from the good ones before spending the time to go look at a car before purchasing.”
