My car is showing damage report on Carfax. Source is not posted on report. Carfax will not tell me source, you are protecting the source. I did open claim, but never got sources info. Carfax has diminished the value of my car but I can not face or reach the accusing company. Very 1 sided. This would be like a creditor has dinged your credit score but you dont have the source info to correct possible not correct credit ding. Carfax is siding with company who pays a monthly fee and not siding with the consumer. When Carfax 1st started out the reports were aimed to help consumer, not anymore. Please reveal sources name to me so I can go to them to correct Carfax.

Using CARFAX was a wast of money, I would not recommend it to anyone.

I was charged twice for the same report....I have an email request in, but have heard no response from it as yet.

Carfax doesnt prove much of real significance... the carfax on the used truck i bought from an original owner with all maintenance records looked great, But turned out that the check engine light diode had been pulled out and there were more than 30 codes and i was stuck with a $20,000 truck that needed $10,000 worth of repairs.

I have already been OVERCHARGED $139.98 due to two disputed charges that Carfax has acknowledged are bogus but has not credited to me. Very very poor and now i have to file a dispute with my credit card company for carfax’s negligence. If i could give ZERO STARS i would.

After pulling 2 reports, I was surprised at the dealership with an additional, critical item calling out structural damage that showed up on _their_ carfax and neither of mine. I will be advising others to avoid using your service.

I never got to the report on the vehicle. I got to the page on the internet and clicked on purchase of 1 vehicle report. The message I received "was try again at another time due to technical difficulties". I waited for about 15 minutes and tried again. I got the same message. The next day I checked my bank account and it showed my credit card account had been charged 2 times for the 3 time vehicle info.for a total of $199.98. It took about 8 days after dealing with my bank and sending a message to CARFAX to get the money back. Needless to say I am not sure I want to deal with you in the future.

I tried emailing a customer service and I didn’t get a respond back at all yet. I purchased a one time purchase to look at the history of my car but it was asking me to pay again. I never got to see the report of my car. I have a proof of purchase as well.

Thought my carfax was clean. Turns out The Who drivers side has been replaced because of a wreck.
