“Nearly a year ago , non fault accident
Insurance paid for car , needed to claim excess and costs back through these people , emails not answered, receipts lost , Thomas dealing with the case ,please let me know what is going on

“Took two years to deal with my claim , didn’t contact an independent witness for over six months and why they did try he was no longer on the same number
Paid me out then six months later decided they had paid me too much so now want me to repay them the difference!

“Worst experience ever had with any legal firm, I was involved in an accident last year and they represented me in the insurance claim. Came back with a very bad settlement claim which was unacceptable and even refused to negotiate on it or support me any further. I have tried to reach out to them to discuss it but seems it is impossible to get hold of them. They cannot be trusted and should not be hired for any sort of claims representation”

“If I could give less stars than one, I would. Carpenters are a shambles of a company. They've lied to me, and for the last 15 months I've been told nothing but lies. And that's only when they decide to actually answer the phone. I've been on hold for up to 40 minutes each time I've called. And although my claim was settled last year. I'm still waiting for them to let me know what to do next.

“Absolutely despicable company. Had accident back in July. Ended up with a claim handler called Ben King. Get an email every few months asking for information I have already submitted 3 times. No updates, no contact, despite emailing several times a week over last few months still no replies or updates.
I'll now look at taking this further and look in to a governing body or ombudsman to start a complaints procedure. If you have an accident and your insurance company instructs Carpenters Group then refuse, you will not get updates, no one will call you, you will be on the phone for hours and never speak to anyone you need to. Absolutely joke of a firm, as of today still waiting for an update, no further forward then I was on December 12. Choose any other firm then these. I'll leave a similar review on Trust Pilot to warn more people of this firm and its employees. All this does is add stress to an already stressful experience.”
“I’ve never come across a more incompetent firm of solicitors, I won’t go into detail the comments on here tell you all you need to know but I’ve been waiting 3 years 7 months for a non fault injury claim payment,not even had an offer also on the 4th appointed solicitor.

“Once they have your accident claim registered, you cease to exist! emails remain unanswered, 'phone calls are met with 'hold', if they get answered at all, their complaints option may elicit a response but don't expect anything to change as a result. Protracted delays on processing claims, even after acceptance of third party responsibility. Read staff reviews of their expeiences of the company which explain a lot about why this happens.”
“I have been emailing and calling carpenters, since last year and no one has got back in touch with me. I keep getting automated message sent to me nearly everyday. About my medical report which I have sent all relevant information on their portal for. They don't answer the phone or reply to your emails. My caseworker who is assigned to me hasn't replied even though I've left so many messages.”

Plus the solicitor that was handling my case has left and yet again I've been appointed another one which I only found out by myself

“Absolutely horrendous experience. Can't belive they are authorised to work in the UK. Must be reported to SRA. This practice should close down. They don't respond emails, phones and above all lie that they left msg on VM when it was deactivated. Never trust these.”
